Have done that several times. One at a time. Was able to rename 3 of them in the order I wanted. Where is the date of creation?? I have been doing it alpha.

This page shows shops by creation time, but doesn't say what the creation time was. I know it was by creation time even though creation time data is not readily available there, because I remember when the inspirations for newshopnames came to me.

Viewing the Source of that page shows my newshops are in shopnumber order, so shopnumbers were assigned via date of creation first come first served, apparently.

Well when I do that they are all ordered properly. But just not when I want to add items to them. Think it is time to give up and just put up with it, even though it is so annoying.

to me this is a Problem & Bug because a sort should be able to tell number but for some reason can't place them properly.

It's rotten to have to put up with idiotic conditions like not having full control of our things like shops and how they are named and ordered, but unfortunately, until they give us full access to that level of programming, we have to settle and deal with it, and it stinks. I just think of it like this...All our stuff on Subeta, our wardrobe items, our pets, our books and our shops are simply electrons being stored on a chip and electrons have a mind of their own, like little imps. Electrons are responsible for making our socks stick to things in the dryer, thus causing us to misplace socks, electrons are responsible for lightning and thunder. Who can control an electron? If they are good, they are very good, but when they are bad they are horrid. With all the issues that Subeta has controlling the electrons that cause the site to crash or turning our HAs into nudists, I don't think we're going to ever get any control over being to easily rename and group our shops.

When your family/household is accustom to beer/alcohol being on hand and you have to ask that all of it be removed is a major life change, nothing minor going on there if ya ask me. I've had to do the same thing for several years and some of our liquor cabinets/beer fridges are stocked to the hilt in my family. I ended up going into full-blown bitch mode on some but I don't want that shit on-hand when my son came around until he got things under control. They got over it eventually and now that he's come to terms with his PTSD and it's ok I've gotten thanked from more than a few people for insisting the booze train come to an end in their homes.

-ie bby I went with roman numerals but I also only have two that are shops and one gallery so that might be why they show up in alphabetical order. To test this theory I'm renaming / setting them all as shops to see if that might be the difference so we know what's going on with yours. I'll let you know what happens as soon as the cache catches up bby

Maybe try switching to roman numerals bby, I II III IV for now. It might lower the aggravation level. If I list things in order I expect them to be displayed that way and it personally drives me insane if I can't.

Morning bears, thought I would pop up in subeta land to check in and I see shops and achievements are retired and different now. No more hoarding achievement...ugh I was so close. Shakes head and goes to sort through the mess.....kinda like cleaning an old closet. Yuck

Maybe it will keep me my mind busy. Can't sleep well at night...my mind seems to never stop "thinking" when its supposed to be sleeping. It's quite annoying. Still can't focus for long like I used to either, probably from lack of sleep.

Actually sweet, not being able to sleep, shut your mind down or focus are the same things I went thru during the year of the fog. Your world has a new "normal" now, and the rest of you is trying to adjust and accept there's no going back to the way things use to be. What you're heart is dealing with is much more severe but when our hearts are broken, our minds and bodies react the same.

I just know you were in on the anon gifting in my lair, I can't prove it, but I just know you were part of it! That put Sydney and I on a quest to find the artist/cw shop with the lotus you've searched for since we saw it in your siggy. There won't be anymore of those released but I talked to KarenP and she has kept me in the loop about a recolour of the one you seek. It's gorgeous!
