You know what really bugs me? It's not missing out on the last hoarding tier, it's my minion gallery! I really worked hard on that and I was hoping to end up with one of every minion here.

I'm almost at 5k and now they want to reduce our galleries and shops because their system can't handle it... I know ...it's sad.. :( @blackwolf_2009 I picked a small shop to rename and change like they wanted.I can do one more that is small.But the gallery has almost 5k in it.So i'm going to wait on that one.Hope i can get to the 5 k at least. Minions??That's what i was collecting too. :(

do you understand what new shops mean do we have to delete all our old shops and renamed new ones and buy them like we did before... thank you for any advice you have to give I would gladly keep it

Yeah but @blackwolf_2009 they ALSO said our old shops will be rendered not usable.

A longer test period would definitely have been waaaay better. xP Just saying...

Eventually you will need to open need new galleries and shops and move things into them, but your current shops will not be taken away. Eventually, all the frufoorah will die down and there will be sensible plans for dealing with the changes.

I get the rationale for what they are trying to accomplish and you've heard me say it over and over, they built Subeta on a foundation of poor coding practices and obsolete techniques. Why they waited so long to do anything about boggles my mind and then pulling this change out of their hats suddenly seems poorly planned. They don't have any way to easily transfer items, so it is going to be labor intensive at best.

I'm pretty much waiting till it's all over with before I even remove a single item. -lol- Definitely going to start with the items in certain categories first. Luminaire, Morostide and Vesnali are gonna be my biggest issues. Dx

No, currently you don't have to even touch them one bit. You can remove stuff at your own pace even after the 24th when disabled. They will be keeping them up for now. I have no idea and have not seen if they ever plan to remove them at all in the future after so long of a time. So for now, you can definitely leave them alone and wait it out to see what the "final" sizes may be. (They even admit themselves that the "final" may not be the last increase and may even increase in the future!)

You can only make 6 shops and/or gallaries, you can't currently buy more and go over the limit. I went ahead and remade my main shop for after the test period and the old name worked (plus I think you can name shops anything anyway, even if another is on the site of the same name). So no really "renaming" thing just create your shop of the same name and move stuff over/restock there. Be warned however the new shops autopricer is currently not working so it's all hand pricing for now. :)

Not usable BUT not inaccessible. What they are saying and meaning is, that after the beta test period and the shops are disabled, you and ONLY you can use them to remove items from. They will no longer show up on shop searches or be able to be stocked and sold from. They can still be used to remove your items from so you can take your time to move things out. It doesn't have to be immediate or even within this month. They do not say in any post I have seen so far that they are DELETING the old galleries/shops at any point right now. Just DISABLING them from being used in a stocking/selling/housing your collection deal and showing up in searches. Still perfectly able to remove items at will so you can move things around even after the shops are disabled.

I can agree there. A month or better would be best. Mostly cuz Vesnali will be at the end of this month. Dx

They are looking into making that process easier! So give'em a bit of time to look into a easy way to remove your items. :D Wish they had that in years ago. Was a pain going through Sorting when it was morostide. My hand rebelled for a day or two after that. ;-;

: Morning! I can't wait to see how your customs turned out. Art and profiles are things I can do for myself so I always feel like it's silly to get other people to do them for me but then they also take time and energy and I have very little of both.

I've finally thought of something about the shop changes that annoys me. Unless they come up with a way to transfer all of your shop info, not just items, from one shop system to the other, anybody who's still trying to get Shop Till Saver or Making a Living by the time everybody has to switch to the new system is going to have to start from scratch. I'm a patient person with these sorts of things so, honestly, it doesn't bother me that much but it is really annoying and I imagine there are going to be some folks super upset about it when they're just a million or so under what they need for the achievement.

Only sticking my head around the door for a sec but I'm absolutely gutted about these new changes - not least as I've worked so hard on Super Shop tiers as well as Shop Till. At about 25k items now so no way of finishing. I'm just really sad about it.

I've so many items stashed in there for galleries and collections I'd planned too.

let's just wait and see. Maybe things turn out better then we all thought.
