groans "consistency issues in item names" That's really a thing? Wonderful. Looks like I need to double check that list too then. Yay?

Mni wiconi -- water is life
Happy Valentines Day to all! It just became a wonderful day for me as this AM I woke up to a frozen cold water pipe in my kitchen and I finally got it to defrost - considering that last night the temp got down to 27 below and tonight it will be going back down to 0, talk about just in time.
Do you leave the cabinet doors open that have pipes that are by any exterior wall? Like your kitchen sink or bathroom sink. Any time it gets near freezing, I leave my cabinet doors open, and this has helped.
oh that is a good thing you got it to unfreeze now keep the cabinet doors open and the water dripping a little and it should help keep it from freezing again

Thank you guys! :D Happy valentine's Day to you too! I hope you had a great day! :D hugs
i am having a great day today just relaxing and staying in as it is raining and freezing right now where i live

I'm happy to hear that! It's summer here to it's quite hot xD I can't wait for Autumn!
It's warming up here. The next week is supposed to be very nice. I'm more than ready for it.

Yes, I had the cabinet doors open and not enough of a drizzle - that has been remedied. The funny thing is my upstairs neighbor is away for the month (and I take up her mail, water her plants and keep an eye on the temp in her unit and leave a drizzle in her sink with the cabinets open) her cold water pipe did not freeze. Now I live on the first floor and mine froze, my friend on the second floor did not freeze and yet our neighbor on the third floor his did freeze. So very strange.
that is strange maybe its the way the wind is blowing around the building or something weird like that but really glad its fixed now for you its raining here and freezing

: Happy Saint Valentines Day my Darlings!!
I hope you got lots of weasel hugs and kisses today

The root of the problem is that the kitchen sink pipes are against an outside wall and NOT insulated - cheap $%@$%$$#, LOL. Been dealing with this issue for 25 years.
Thank you!! *hugs Happy Valentine's Day to you too! :D
Heheh, thank you! That's cute!

wow the pipes aren't insulated that is cheap sorry blanky blanks lol sorry you had to deal with it for so long

Totally agree, but at least knowing the facts we have all managed not to have a pipe disaster which is pretty good considering our winters. Even better news - I showed the guy on the top floor how to do it once mine thawed and loaned him my blow dryer which he just brought back down after his thawed. Now at least this building won't have a problem. Am thankful.
Happy Valentines Day to my bear family! gives all hugs
Well I hope that doesnt happen again, maybe space heater would help. On low temperature though.
No, just didn't have the faucet open enough - my error, first time missing it in 25 years, LOL.
