We're getting ready for all hallowseve ourselves - why just last night I threatened my daughter's very existence because her "Costume test" pic she sent me without warning almost put me in a panic. Ah the joys of the season, lol

we got hit too with the first snowfall accumulation of the year here too - from now until mid May or later it can snow any time so keep those winter boots at the ready, lol - so glad yall got to visit too, that makes my heart smile.

Yeah, we got hit with some minor accumulation yesterday but they claim it'll be gone next week. It was rain/sleet mixed with snow so if that's any indication of whats to come it's gonna be a snow-shovel's nightmare lol! Luckily my son gave me a snow-blower but I don't know how to use it yet xD As for the day, I'm really tired of being propped up most of the day but the swelling is still there so it's that or look like I've recently inherited elephant man's foot.

I was just telling my brother how they were doing, lol, so I'll put it here too. Zach has been thru so much he's doing incredibly well but his Mom and Uncle over-reacted to the latest drama and their mom had to set them straight, lol

Voldemort (thats what we call the man who hit them since Zach really looks like Harry Potter now) plead not guilty and fought the criminal case which seriously ticked them off but I figured he would. My guess is he was trying to save his independence and was not above bending the truth to do so.

There was no way his lawyers could say it was anything but his fault and he was found guilty as I expected but my kids.. took all the reasoning I could come up with to keep them from showing up at the court house and that's the last thing we need. I mean, I get where they're coming from. Part of their hatred for him is because he has not checked on them once nor shown any remorse for almost killing my grandson but that's on him, not us. Hopefully I can get it thru their heads that there's no need to feel anything at all about him, life's too short to bother with hating someone you don't know.

In time I suppose, and if not, I'll pull the WHOS THE MOM HERE card LOL!

So familiar this entire scenario...the guy who hit me never once showed up for anything and also showed no remorse for this thing either.Lies are easier to tell than the trueth...i put this guy out of my mind so it won't gnaw on me....it's best to do this and for get it....i look at it this way i am here and i am supposed to be for some reason....so look forward not back.
