What a relief!! phew

My niece texted me that it was raining but she's also all set up in case her mom and the rest of the crew are told to evac to the valley. I don't know if the rain amounted to anything substantial or helpful but I hope it's happening enough to make a difference and save some of the beautiful mountain range(s) I use to call home.

Can I complain for a bit? I really need to vent my frustrations for a bit. So don't read below if you don't want to see me rant :P

The water in my kitchen sink has been stuck for a while. There's some junk stuck inside the pipes that maked the water flow only very slowly. I told my houseboss that he should take a look at it. He immediately called a plumber and came to take a look on Saturday, just as I was about to leave to visit my parents and grandma. I came back home on Sunday night at 10.30pm, and my kitchen was a mess! There was dirt from the pipes everywhere, including on all the clean dishes in the cupboard which they shoved aside to get at the plumbing from the sink. I guess I should have seen this coming and should have moved all of my stuff out of the cupboard before they started. I even found dirty/black fingerprints on my toilet and the sink in the bathroom. Jeez, can't they wash their hands before touching the rest of my house? O.o So I cleaned my kitchen as best as I could and left the now not so clean dishes for later. Monday morning I got up early to get rid of some of the dishes and I discovered dirty fingerprints on the plastick bucket I use to wash my dishes in. sigh So I cleaned that first before I did part of the dishes. I didn't have enough time to do all of them since I had to leave for work. I had an 11 hour workingday, so didn't have the energy to do more cleaning in the evening. Plus the plumber called me to say they hadn't completely finished yet and wanted to come back on Tuesday. Tuesday morning (this morning) I finish the rest of the dishes and move all the things in the cupboard to the other side of my house. After another 11 hour working day I come home at 9pm, and again my kitchen is a mess. Ugh! At least my dishes are clean this time! So once again I clean my kitchen and vacuum the floor because there's crap all over the place and I need to pass there on bare feet if I need to pee tonight. I discover that they used my plastic dishwashing bucket for I don't know what, it's so dirty I'm just going to throw it away. Then it's 9:30pm when I finally get the time to eat something (really not in the mood of cooking, so eating some raw veggies) while I write this post. AARGH! At least the water in my sink is not stuck anymore...

That reminds me, last time they came to fix my sink I came home and found the cloth I use to clean the toilet in the middle of my kitchen. I guess it's not really their fault, because they couldn't know. And you don't pay a plumber to clean your kitchen, you pay them to fix your plumbing xD But it's just so annoying to come home from a long working day and finding a mess in your kitchen/house.

Gee are these plumbers animals or what? I would be raging hot pissed. Leaving all that mess around, and walking all around your apartment. I would look for things missing. God I hope not for your sake. But I would let the apartment owner know about the mess, and if the plumber was an outside company, I would call and give the manager heck too. Seriously, bathroom cloth in the kitchen I would bleach everything. Uck I am freaked out for you.

All men are animals, right? ;) Well, most of them anyways. I checked for missing things. So far my keys, money, tablet and other electrical apparatuses seem to be present. Maybe next time I should take a day off from work to monitor the mess they're making, then I can prevent some situations from happening. But these kind of sink problems only appear when you're super busy at work and can't really afford to stay at home.

Oh, that's terrible. I would be calling anyone I could think of to complain.

Tell me about it, I live in the house of men. Although hubby is the exception, and no amount of nagging will get my sons' acts together. Unless i want to nag them their every waking minute. Hopefully there is no next time but if so I hope you can take time off.
