I wasn't going to get another after my Ginger died and started thinking I could give another as much love as I did her.. so now have Scarlet. She was about 2 when I got her and is every bit as sweet as Ginger was. I feel very lucky then and now!

I am sick at heart right now. That little dog I adopted yesterday turned out to have a uterine infection, which has complicated the spaying. She's still being treated and hopefully things won't go south, but it's also going to end up costing more than I like to think about.
