Now that would be an accomplishment! I'm doing great getting the blood sugar under control according to the doc, Bug has me on a top notch carb count plan. The down side is my eyes. It seems my eye sight is what's been affected the worst/most. My numbers are leveling out and great so next is the eye doctor. I actually have to use 3 different pair of reading glasses to do things so something went way hay-wire with them but that's ok, the damage seems to have been stopped and as long as I can see the kids instead of having to hear them to know who's there I don't care what they have me wear.

I'm going to need glasses, most likely pretty intense ones but I don't care. I can see the kids and that's all that I care about. Until Zach said something I couldnt tell if it was Eli or him coming in the door. Things seem to be settling down now so they can do the eye exam and get me the proper glasses and compared to seeing the world thru a smeared muddy windshield that's a small price to pay ❤

YW! I saw the right edge of the book, and thought hey wait a minute here. This has to be a book, I checked it out and was right. Love the design its eye catching. Your so right!! Restocking and quantity for the token shop sure has improved giving more opportunity for player to get an item.

Radio update! :D Class 2 last night. We did another cold reading of Suspense and Easy Aces. We also went through The Thin Man script. The director isn't sure if her plan for a little intermission act will work out so we'll be preparing The Thin Man too.

Tentative casting was set last night (tentative because not everyone could be there) and should hopefully be set next week. As of right now I've got the role of Helen Brandt in Suspense, Miss Delmar in Easy Aces, and a girl named Bingo Burns in The Thin Man.

Next week will start all the character development and trying to find the tones to try and make the readings a little more expressive. I envision a lot of frustration at myself on my end for this. I know what the director is asking for and I know I can do a lot of what she wants, but trying to do it in front of a group of strangers is a whole other story. (A point I know will be lost on many family members because I did band and chorus in elementary. In those I could pretend to sing or play and the only people that would know I wasn't were the people right next to me.)

Fixing up the Delmar role shouldn't be too hard. Its only a few lines so I'm probably going to put the original airing of the episode on repeat and see what I can do imitation-wise. Helen is more me needing to pick up on the moods for the conversation lines than anything else. The director said she liked the voice I used for the narrative parts. Bingo will provide most of the frustration. The director wants a tough..."Italian New York" accent to pair with the way a classmate voiced another character. The first thing I thought of was the family from the show Cake Boss (heard via commercials). I've never had this accent come up in anything I've watched or listened to so I'm completely lost and starting from scratch on this one. D: frantic flails

I'm not sure there will be much more to report now until we get closer to showtime, but we'll see.

The really old Godfather movies had Italian New York accents i think, there are women parts you can listen to. But i don't know if that will help you. Ask your director if they have an idea of what you can listen to to get that voice down. I am sure the director can help you, and wants you to succeed as i do!

Aww.. I just lovers yall to pieces!

Im using a magnifying glass to read posts, the computer glare is harsh, even with the settings dialed down. Blech. And I do not like today. Not a little bit.

I want chocolate. I can't have any so it's driving me crazy knowing I have some chocolate chips and a tub of frosting in the cupboard. I cant have any cho. chips. Eating frosting out of a tub would surely put me in a coma. Even tho I could bake a cake I cant have that either.

Not a good way to start the day. Looks like I best start looking into sugar free stuff for someone who somehow ended up with a mouthful of sweet teeth instead of just one.

That'll help. And I've never seen them so I'll be more attentive when they're on. c: I'll have to see if I can dig them up this weekend. Thank you!
