Its this time of year (year round actually)you think of family and friends. I am worrying about our head bear and her tribe, and their safety for future generations of their tribe! We havent heard from her in awhile and I am worried. So in short let your friends and loved ones know you love them and your worried about them. Bears take care of yourself, your family here in the lair worry about you and care that your okay. Special request eat sweets for me, since I cant tomorrow. LOL Trying to behave myself!

: I want to take this time to say that I am thankful for all of you and that I love each and every one of you. Some I know better then others, but I must say that after these many years this group has been together, I have never met a more loving, kind, concerned and respectful bunch of people on any social media venue of any kind. You are truly a blessing to me, and you all have accepted me for who I am without question, rancor or derision. Thank you my bear family.

I am also thankful for my human family, my Author, his mate, his children ( some of whom you know ) and his grandchildren. Nearly fourteen years ago, there was a huge division in his family and this is the first Thanksgiving that the entire family will be reunited since that time. I will be introduced to a whole other group of family I have never met and I am excited.

Be sure to tell those around you that you love them.

I wish we had something in Australia as wonderful as Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for and it is ignored mostly.

It is very early and I am very tired and I am getting ready to go to work and bake a lot of bread, most of which will likely be going to the local food banks and nearby shelters in the morning just as our leftovers do every morning. Then I go straight from work to my parents' house where I will be doing my best to eat like a normal person but moreover I will be sharing a meal with not only my family but everyone my family knows who does not have a place to go and be with their own family.

I don't care much for Thanksgiving as a holiday, really. Working in food service I am too often reminded, particularly around holidays than are meant to celebrate gratitude and kindness, how very ungrateful and mean people can be. That said, however, I am thankful for today as I am for every day that I am lucky enough to wake up again and I am thankful for every customer who has been or will be kind to make up for those who are not and I am, as always, thankful for all of you and the support and encouragement that you have all offered me. It has been a very rough year but you have all helped me get through a good three quarters of it now without question or expectation and for that I am tremendously grateful.

Wonderful to read about uniting happening this year for you. I was with my family and my two remaining siblings for Rosh Hashana. It was wonderful. I wish you all the Love and Health and comfort. You are worth it!

Start a tradition! Our family meets Friday night for meals, not all but more than during the week, and (usualy) we do a round of "I am thankful/Grateful". I love it. Invited guests join it too.

Congrats on 12 years, that is a looong time :) Yay for a new pet slot too!

What a wonderful sentiment ~ the extravagance of the holiday season often overshadows the basic need for kindness towards the less fortunate and gratitude for the blessings that we have and enjoy on a daily basis. Grateful that the lair can be a source of caring and understanding no matter what RL throws at you. Here we got each others back. Sending the warmest hug another grateful person can send. Know that the food you bake and donate, there are people who would go with out it. Please take time for yourself, you sound like your soul is weary/tired. Do something that brings you joy and puts the smile on your face and soul.
