Welcome to the lair. This is the nicest group of people on subeta. I work full time and haven't been posting much. Had a day off today so have time to chat a bit. :)

How are you feeling today? I am going to the dr tomorrow. Enough of this. Even if I don't have whooping cough (test takes about a month) I am asking for whooping cough medicine-I have been coughing for six weeks! I can't take the disruption any more. Yeesh.

-km Im still coughing and a bit dizzy but this is mild compared to how I felt for almost 2 weeks earlier, thanks for asking ❤ Now my focus is puttin' my house back the way I like it. Not that I don't appreciate my sister or my son's help keeping things "straightened out", I do - but now I can't find anything! You know how it goes, we like things our way and everyone has their own way of putting them that way, lol! I dont know if I'll finish picking up and straightening things out today or not but Im gonna give it a shot!

I think most of us were that same way, when I first joined I found the forums to be a place to avoid. So many rules about what to post where and the trolls! OMG! Snarky replies to simple newbie questions, people talking down to others, no thank you! Most of us met during events and would comment back and forth after the events were over so we were friends but didn't have a place to chit-chat together.

When groups were introduced I knew exactly what to do. We're from all across the globe with different points of view on just about everything and I wanted a place where everyone was accepted and even if they don't see eye-to-eye, they are in a safe place. The drama is left for the debate forum. So, I made the lair and we have been chatting non-stop ever since!

I do have one rule tho. Don't burn it down while I'm gone.

Aww that is the sweetest thing ever! I know exactly what you mean about the forums i am glad i found this place! Especially since everyone is so helpful and giving, helped me so much during the last event, i just want to do the same for others to!

I have a LOT of help in my house. The kids cook and put away and NOTHING is where I expect it to be or in any order that I had set up and it usually knocks me for a loop. But I am LEARNING to be okay about it. My daughter made rolls and cookies for my feast today and when I got up at 6am, she was still up, she had cleaned EVERYTHING, all the dishes done, the counters clean, the floor swept. I asked her where some of the stuff she put away is, and she said I found places for them. Oh boy! I am never going to find them again LoL...

I've known Nic for.. omgosh, um.. lets see. My little bear (my oldest grandson) wasn't born yet or maybe he had just arrived when I first met her and that was 13 years ago. I guess I've known Nic for about forever xD

I got 2 zapped minions. They are so cute! Need to relearn how to battle. Changes since I last tried and I haven't a CLUE! The disorder drives me nuts, but that is a trade off with having them prepare meals instead of expecting me to provide everything. Wish the tp dispenser would have automatic refill....
