I'm not sure how this is now considered a time saver as you still need to wait 5 seconds between buying things? - That time limit gets used up by haggling. But I really liked being able to haggle as it saves me a quite a bit of sP.

Now I'll still have to wait five seconds between restocks and not save any sP, LOL. I am really not a fan of this new change.

Aww, really??? Definitely not a fan! I always always always haggled for everything. Since I've been trying to get the hoarder achievements before they vanish, every bit of sP I can save is useful! >< And on PC, it really added very little time... Typing 2111 or something is very quick, I'd often still hit the "You must wait 5 seconds" screen on the second item of a quest, so it's not like it's a time saver in those instances. :(

said it on the official site update thread and will say it here as well: not a fan. make attractive sp sinks instead of simply taking my sp by force without leaving me with an alternative similar to haggling wrt price. cut off 15% off of all npc shop items who don't have the haggling feature any more. lessen the 5 second purchase wait. ugh.

I'm worried about autobuyers for rares - super rares below r90, franky. I said this on the update thread, I like not haggling, but I think these should still have captcha.

I rarely post on the forums but this is one of the very few times that i actually have to say something.... the click to buy option is exactly what KILLED neopets back in the day for me, cause people simply could use programs to grab all the "rare" items off the shop without even sitting in front of it. I'm a restocker at heart and this is pretty much the worst possible thing to do for the NPC shops in my opinion.

Edit: Rarity 98~99 still needs you to enter a price + a capture code...but certainly rarity 86 is click to buy (both being Super Rare) >.>

I'm a lazy butt, so I love that haggling's gone. I'm not fussed about the 2-300 sp difference, either. Used to be, if it was in main shops for ~2k and user shops for higher, I'd pay the higher price to avoid the extra clicking/typing.

So yeah down with haggling.

Also, I don't think this was intended as an sp sink, cause Keith said in the site update thread he was considering lowering all main shops' prices by ~10% to make up the difference.

Now I feel like a butt for thinking it was a sink kind of thing. :P

I haggle every single time. I dunno, every time Keith says "nobody does this" it's always something I do.

So it's super easy to buy from stores now. I like that. The downside? Took me less than a minute to buy up everything that looked to be of value in a store. Maybe it's not a concern if one or two people buy up all the things, but I kind of thought it was given that we've had captchas for so long.

Haha yeah, I meant more as an unintended side effect vs. calculated stealing of nominal sP. The convinience is the main point here. :)

This helped me a lot because it slowed down people buying things. I do not have a fast computer and needing a captcha gave me more of a chance to get stuff. Now someone can just smack the button and instantly buy it? Restocking is going to be harder than ever, and a nightmare during those pesky Keel Haulidays.

I really liked haggling. I did it all the time. Super disappointed with this change. u_u And the new shop page feels all weird to me.

Keel Hauliday is a nightmare to people on older computers, or slow connections. This whole boop! instabuy thing is awful. I don't know how many threads I have written about "omg help can't restock". When they changed the Magic Box to not pull from the Holiday Shop, which was how I got 90% of the holiday items. HNNNNGHHHHH.

At least now many of the Holiday Items are unlimited.

I was barely managing to get things from Keelhauliday after the first three days and I'm pretty sure I can never get anything above common again if CAPTCHA is removed. :(

I've been trying to RS on and off today and it's just not working for me, sigh.

That on top of now shops being able to price items to 100million? /4evapoor

I get excited when I get more than 10million in my vault. I feel rich with 15million.

I don't understand why haggling would be removed. Even if not many people RS, there is still RSing being done. I'd understand if CAPTCHA had been removed because it's just annoying, but if you were trying to prevent ABers, well you just opened the front door for them.

I would have preferred if/when someone put a price that's too low, that it'd load a page to haggle again instead of a blank 'That is too low!' page.
