It is annoying going through a process of copy and paste name and search account for item, or clicking on each item to add to collection, only to be yelled at by that thing that you already have it

I don't get why people don't have the items NOT in their collection on their wishlist. It is really easy to see if you need it or not by the box around it or lack thereof.

As I do not actively go out to collect plushies, beanbags or trading cards, I would feel it was a wasted effort. I do that with a lot of things, mainly event shops, but that's less to deal with than the vast amount of plushies and beanbags that exist. Good for you if it works and whatnot, but I don't have that kind of time or patience, and should I come across time and patience, I can guarantee it would need to be used for something else.

that is certainly your prerogative. I am of the mind that things that take more time and effort are more rewarding to accomplish. Not everyone agrees with that, not everyone has to agree.

Very true, one of the great things of conversing and having opinions. And I would agree that things that take more time and effort feel far more rewarding in the end, and I love organizing and list making, I'm obsessive about it, even.

I think, overall, a quick stock option is excessive for the state of quick stock as it is now. I think we could easily have the same discussion about the wardrobe if it wasn't already on offer to quick stock. But, I'm still all for just removing the option to add the item to whatever collection if you already have it in your collection, that still requires clicking on the item or copying and pasting or whatever else you do.

No thanks to a quick stock

What really needs to be done is the removal of the link to add to a collection, whether it be a trading card, plushie, or beanbag

I&;m glad that this isn&;t something that&;s happened. I agree with the idea that it should be more of an effort. Also, I can totally see people complaining if this was implemented because they&;d be constantly adding stuff to their collections that they didn&;t intend to add and couldn&;t remove.

This.

Especially since you cannot remove from collections.

This is something I can deal with. It already exists for books, it should be removed for actual collections (except foods, since you can feed more than one, obviously)

Don&;t think to shovel in plushies by the bucket load - it&;s not fun. Take your time and enjoy it.

Because repetitively clicking 5000 times is much more fun.

...why is making a collection supposed to be tedious?! Are they trying to discourage us from doing it? Because wouldn't the solution to that be "not create a collection site feature in the first place"?

But yeah, I'd love something to help me distinguish what beanbags/plushies/cards I have/don't have without having to go to SubetaLodge.

Another thing that would be cool is if it automatically put it into a collection unless you said otherwise, like a button that says "Would you like to put this into your collection?" after you get a plushie.

No, sorry. Automated anything is not cool.

Collections are not a part of the site I'm interested into, why should I have to check a bunch of options to make sure that the plushies I get as rewards from questing don't end in my collection that I don't care about.

Are you referring to when you buy from shops and there is an option with clothing to go ahead and add to wardrobe? That I can understand, but a general auto add does not sound like a good thing.

Honestly I never understood the excuse that collections need to be tedious. The real challenge is actually getting the items, not putting them in your collection. I need like 300 plushies to complete my collection and every time I go to buy 3-5 of them, that's at least 50m out of my pocket. I don't see why it's needed to add extra effort to that.

I agree that the QS page would be to cluttered with this. So maybe a link on each collection's page to add the items in your inventory would be better.

Yeah, that's what I thought they meant? I'd definitely like a button like that, but sending things directly to the collection would be confusing for collectors and annoying for non-collectors.

This is what I have done for all the collections, and also for all the books my pet hasnt read. It was much easier before when SL's wishlist feature worked, but now with how Subeta has vamped the wishlist, and that feature no longer working, it would be a huge pain in the ass. I planned to also do it for food my pet hasn't eaten, but I no longer see that as an option.

Yes, I mean't that if you bought something from a shop it would have that button, not in your inventory.

I used to do that, but I'm trying to keep my wishlist reasonably sized -- I keep hearing that huge wishlists put a strain on the server and it takes forever for big lists to load when people look at them, so I keep mine down to basically "clothes I want to buy".

I think putting all of them on your wishlist is just as tedious as putting them in your collection :/
