Now, for the final results. First the comments from our judges, including a guest judge who is an actual mystery writer and was kind enough to read the mystery and offer comment.
<p>So who was the next most likely suspect for the &;high partial&;? That would be the too-innocent-to-be-real Sibrica. As a dark horse, she was a perfect not-quite-right choice. We live in a world where things tend to be gray, and she shone too brightly. However, there are those that do, souls that, even battered, are exactly what they seem. This was reflected in her past, and also in the video she sent to Caudata in case she needed protection. She didn&;t, because Tamias was simple, troubled, and utterly devoted to his fictional sweetheart, but Sibrica didn&;t know that. She only really knew how to love, even if it was misguided and almost brought her to ruin. Still, she might have swayed any accuser.</p>
<p>As to the other partial suspect, way too obvious, but still the popular emotional choice as he was so easy to despise, it&;s the Professor. Really a nasty character, and we hope he finds just what he deserves. However, he was much too selfish to actually risk murder, especially of so lowly a creature in his mind as a female. Drug her; rape her; bend her to his will, but then move on. He was that kind of scum.</p>
<p>Layana was the obvious frame, and hers was almost gold-edged, which was another clue to Bacina. Not only could she gain Woody, but she could eliminate both heirs to the Marmota fortune. Yes, she had money, but greed knows no limits.</p>
<p>We can&;t give any sleuthing credit for Layana, Utah, Tamias, or Woody as the killer, so submission credit only.

Just a heads up for those of you who are not currently Wayward Squirrels. Nutsy will stop being pinged right after all the prizes are awarded.
There will be previews, "opinion polls," and some planning things for WS3 that will have to happen before the event.
You will NOT be pinged for any of this or for WS3 itself unless you are a squirrel, and, when we're full, we're full.
