WHY CAN'T WE BUY FLOWERS AT THE GARDENS?

I also don't like the idea of New Years Quests when we already have so many quests. Using quests we already have is killing two birds with one stone.

And lets be honest: The items from floaters have never been great. They&;ve had the year on them and only serve to toss in the wardrobe. We want to move toward quality vs quantity in this regard, and that means making you play a little harder for the items you want

SOME ARE CUTE.

on the other hand

you have no idea how much i hate the 2012 part of these minions' names

.. WE HAVE GARDENS?... No I jest, this is even better! Nit only gives the gardens more use, and a great sP sink, but are we talking the ability to actually pick the flowers we want? There are so many pretty flowers I'd love to actually hoardstock up on specific one's for TC purposes.

I'd love to see free via questing + garden purchases. Free for all and to buy if you need more.

(I'm not sure if the New Yeats quest is aimed at me or not, if so I must have worded something poorly because I totally agree with you. If not then, well I just totally agree.) PS: Please please can that year be removed from those minions? PLEASE.

I like that you can get them by questing! Not everything is going to work out for everyone. I hate the floaters. What I'd like is if you could buy more New Year Tokens with Quest Points, like in the Menagerie and Lounge you can buy one token with the other. It makes sense to me lol

I love floaters... I do so many things on the site and random events including floaters make me feel like im getting things while spending all my time here :P

The quests on the other hand annoy me as even though I have done all the ones I could from each quest giver (I'm not paying ridiculous amounts for quests thats just dumb) I'm not going to get enough to get all the things I want. Not to mention its only the chance to get a coin with each quest and I've noticed the number I get going down each day.

Maybe a mix would have been better? So those who don't have all day to sit on the site can get coins but those of us who do spend a huge amount of our time on here get rewarded for that also?

I really really don't like floaters. They end up being worthless most of the time and it's annoying to have to keep an eye out. Even with the custom CSS, they slow down my browsing because I'm like "Oops! Need to check that corner!"... I like when there is a specific place to go to get *event specific items. (*Not just talking about the New Year thing here.) And I love when they use quests as a method to hand items out. It's not particularly difficult, just a little time consuming, and I always make sP from it. (Of course, I enjoy the quests anyway, since they reduced the max number and increased the prizes. If you don't like questing, you obviously won't agree with my sentiment.)

If there needs to be a reason why New Year tokens should be given out by quests: When it first started, I felt that it was like the quest givers were handing out tokens of good luck and well-wishes... Like the red envelopes given out during the Chinese New Year. The thought made me smile and I didn't really even consider that might not have been the initial intention. -shrugs-

I both love and hate floaters. It is really goodie bags that I like. Hate them because they do end up becoming worthless in the end and you have to go back and check every page like said. I always end up missing a lot because of that.

People who don't have the time to sit on the site all day do not benefit from floaters, as they don't load enough pages to get enough. Quests are better for casual players.

If you read my post thats why I said both would be great, so those who are casual can get them while questing and those who do spend a lot of time here get something out of it too.

I forget anything is going on at all without floaters.

- I so agree about the year before those minions! UGH! They are so lovely too :(

I like floaters. I enjoy catching em. They do serve a purpose. While they might be useless, they become fodder for Quentin. As their current requests continue to dwindle in quantity, new "useless/worthless" items such as those from floaters become valuable with them. These items might not turn a profit quickly, but down the road, they will. They serve a purpose, and I think it would be ill advised to get rid them completely. Otherwise, I'd predict another revamp to some quest givers who ask for these items.

Does the New Year Tokens typically end after a week? There are many things in the new year shop that cost at least 10 tokens, and I was hoping the tokens are given out longer.

Yeah, I think the tokens are already done. Or at least I didn't get any today, lol.

It sucks because I really need to catch up on the older items and they're rather expensive...

It's a shame they're over already, but a week does seem fair for something which isn't really a holiday. I was super busy in the days after New Years and only managed to get two full days of questing in, and I was quietly hoping we'd maybe get a couple more days to collect tokens. I did still manage to get all of this years items, so it's not so bad.

There isn't anything else happening this first month of the year yet, so it shouldn't hurt to extend it a bit.

Concerning feedback, I am a disappointed it's over so quick. I quested to the max all days but one and only barely scratched the surface of the items I wanted. Plus with items from so many previous years, I like the suggestion above about quests giving out 1-3 tokens. I think this is fair considering the fact the number of times we could quest was reduced.

Please, please don't ping me. Please.

It would have been nice to get a warning of when it would end (a News post, 'you have 1 day left until it ends', or something similar)

It makes planning purchases easier if we know how long the tokens are being given out for ^-^

yikes that was short, certainly considering that we could catch up on previous years items + the cost of them + we could only do a certain amount of quests.

I was still 150 points short to just buy the items i really really needed. I didn't even get to buying wears yet

I noticed today didn't get out any tokens, and I'm like...shoot did I miss the warning? I went and looked, no post. I then scrolled down to the original post and there was no time frame given.

Oh well, a week to gather tokens wasn't too terrible!
