This is really such a shame!! :( Hoping this is just temporarily due to the Free Shop. But this is really getting in my nerves already. Also because when multiple items stock it says Oh No! This item was already purchased. after clicking on it. After refreshing there are still some left but only one is sold. Takes the fun out of rsing.

Ha, I thought this was a change due to the free shop. I thought YES finally! I won't know if I just missed an awesome bhh item (which happened to me a few days ago :c).

I wouldn't mind this change if it wasn't a competition for the first item in a restocked batch, like and described.

What this does is gives the person who bought the first one an advantage as they won't get the "already purchased" error and can just go back and get the next one in stock. The person with the error is going to experience a delay and frustration. :c So yes, not a fan.

Agreed with everything said. I'm not actually slower in my buying, just a hell of a lot more annoyed. So unless the idea was to make restocking so frustrating no one will do it, it's not working.

This right here. Also what said. If I click on the "go back to last page" after getting the error that the item is already purchased and try to purchase it from the shop again, it gives me the same error even though no one else is trying to purchase it. I refreshed and there was the same exact amount, so no one was purchasing at that moment. Why get the error twice? I've even gotten this error on the first time trying to buy. I go back to the shop, refresh and the item is still there. Go to purchase and it's successful that time. Why?

Even after getting the 'Oh No! This item has already been purchased" You still have to wait 5 seconds (I was questing at the time and had multiple tab open for different items). I didnt buy anything and i had to wait another 5 seconds? Way too tedious :c

I wondered why I was having a bit of trouble restocking items last night while questing. Had an item that had five in stock and before I finally just re-searched for it, I just could not buy it. I backspaced, backspaced and refreshed, went back to the search page, then finally just closed the tab and re-searched. I was then able to buy the item.

Course once I started to get this I realized if I wanted to buy the 2+ of that item in stock I could just open the main shop buy item page in a new tab, buy it, close tab, hit search on the shop search page, and buy the next one (repeat for how many are in stock).

I still don't like this because as others said, I had this pop up on the first try to buy something that had multiplies in stock. Even once when nothing was even sold from the 3 in stock. (Unless the shop restocked the one that was bought)

To be honest this takes the fun out of both restocking and questing for me. Basically I only restock while I quest, and now purchasing the first item is such a pain because basically doing anything wrong (captcha, offering too much, slow loading times, etc.) results in the "error", that I don't want to purchase a second copy. I never go to the main shopfronts if I can help it because its a pain finding things already, this isn't making me want to do that. Instead I've stopped using the npc shops as much, which makes my discount card pointless.

I'm a constant restocker just because I can't afford to pay real money on this game. All of my CWs and CSC were either bought by me with hard-earned sP or given to me by good friends. I know I'm not the only person in this situation, either.

it never ceases to amaze me with how many things we really need fixed on this site (the glitchy wishlist update right around christmas made it nearly impossible to buy presents for my friends, and just the day before i was working on WLs for my pets and buying the cheapest items for TC and my gallery; not anymore, though) that we always get something that literally no one asked for & that literally 90% of the userbase will hate. who thinks this stuff is a good idea?

a sites update should not make the site worse, nor should coders/owners ignore the things people have requested fixed over and over. i only just started restocking because my friend got into it, and two days into restocking we get this update. it really does make it not even worth it. i agree with all the previous messages. either add the captchas back or rework this feature to be less tedious and infuriating for people trying to enjoy the site.

This exactly!!! I've gotten more and more put off by some of the changes and lack of "fixes". This may just be the killing blow.

Spends months talking about how much sP goes into the system daily and how a sP sink is needed: Removes a very effective sP sink.

People enjoy something and the way if functions pleases everyone? Quick lets change it (without announcing it) because god forbids something might actually be user friendly and be actually functional.

Restocking was probably the only site feature that didn't have any fundamental improvements suggested in the The giant list of usability and random improvement topic. Guess that can be added to the list now as well. Then we reached the sad point where pretty much everything needs to an update.

It's been a while since we got our pitchforks out.
