I feel that Wizened Wizard is also a great blast. Those 50 icon curses hurt and they generate OPB 5K heals each use.

I hated blasting those at first because it was the only thing I could block and overheal on no matter what it was paired with, but then I decided to use skelly staff as secondary instead of maining it with natasha. And since its curse was part of the 6.9k crit that killed me for a tie, I changed my mind lol.

These weapons should help against Mutant Scientist:

OHS ME M-Weapon Tainted staff (though the top 3 should be better considering Thracian's favoring of attack over defense, although it wouldn't hurt to try)

The use of a mecha is recommended.

@ MrCool Yeah, I'm using ME and MW now. Almost got a win with Trident + ME, somehow, but some nasty crits took me out. And I never enter a battle like this without my mecha. I even used it against Slabby even though the blessing was disabled.

She shouldn't put up too much of a fight. She hasn't got Slabby's boosting or high icons, so it's mostly just trying to overcome her healing. [edit] Okay, I know it's not true, but I swear some of these opponents' healing weapons have some kind of anti-blaster coding to them.
