- speeding. I was overtaking a truck on a highway that has no overtaking lanes. My logic was that it was safer to speed up to get around him quicker than it was to stay on the wrong side of the road for any longer than was necessary. Didn't see the speed trap up ahead behind some trees. Cop who pulled me over was like "Well... admittedly I can see the logic in that but it's still illegal" XD

overtaking is australian for passing I guess :p I avoid express ways and I hardly ever go 10 over the speed limit. sounds perfectly logical to me, dumb cop :p

yeah nothing from quentin for me too x) 18 minutes does make a difference, at the end of the day. I once did not finish my quests and 18 minutes would have helped a lot :(

I don't know if this highway counts as an expressway. I think of expressways as the huge multi-laned things? Idk. I live in the country where all our highways are one lane anyway. Very frustrating if you get stuck behind massive trucks XD To be fair to the cop, he was nice about it haha. He was actually very sympathetic when I choked in shock and disgust at how much it was XD

yeah I don't understand any of those o_o I call all expressways highways actually o-o but I live right off of a real highway I think? it's the major road through town and I drive on it a lot. express ways are things you get on a ramp and enter and there's usually at least two lanes, then there are exit ramps and crap. they're terrifying. he shoulda just given you a warning :P

I find that I get a decent tome return when cashing in 50-100 amulets at once, but any less than that and it ends up working out bleh. I don't really know why that is. Mind you, I've had a couple of days where I've had two amulets and gotten two tomes, so I'm sure it works out overall.

we don't have any huge 8 lane ones here thankfully. but I still stay off the main one here. got on it once by accident and almost had a panic attack.

it's usually worse when I do a bunch at once, I go on steaks of 10-15 amulets without getting a tome.

Likewise, but on average across that 100 it ends up returning about 18%, which I consider not bad shrugs usually I'm just happy if it works out giving me enough tomes that it worked out more profitable to have turned in the amulets than to have just bought the tomes. I hope that made sense is tired

well that's better than the rate I think it is, which I hear is 1/7. about 14%. so 18% is great :P yeah I think I understand that. I never pay attention to how much I coulda made if I sold my amulets. I never sell them or buy them.

- I can't afford it either twitches but I waaaaaaant to haha. That's a good strategy. I just can't hoard. Too impatient :P I force myself to hoard my EXP from BQs but I only ever make it to 200k before I'm like SPEND ALL OF THE EXP
