I just had dinner with my grandpa and my neighbours. They're 70/80 years old and they were telling war stories, and my neighbour described what the germans would do to the sailors that found english men in the sea and brought them to shore, and to the english themselves. I am shocked. It's not the same when you see it in movies and when your neighbour you've known half your life tells it as a dinner story.
