Yeah, it was quite abrupt, and the epilogue seemed a bit off character (IMO) - but more than anything I disliked the way she dealt with the majority of the sub-characters.

Most subeta games don't require too much skill, they're just tedious if you need to build up a lot of cumulative points/plays. Most of them mirror games on Neopets, though, so I've been playing them since I was a kid, haha.

I'm too lazy to make game achievements a priority, because I'm always tired after doing quests - such hard work, right? :P Good luck with yours - hopefully you get more NY tokens than me. I still need approx 456789 things. Why is every collectible 20+ points, when you get 40 a day?! That's just mean.

Played the final, we lost. Me and my skip didn't play fantastic, but their skip was ON HIS GAME. We still won $320 as a team and a HUGE box of mushrooms xD

Haha it was the "Metcalfe Mushroom Speil" Turns out this tiny town we were playing in is like the mushroom capital of eastern ontario.. so it was a prize, naturally.

I've seen them around, they seem quite popular :) Makes sense, it's a nice and versatile one, perfect for any season/event.

I HATE mushrooms, actually. And I literally got a 5lb box of them. At least Nathan likes them. So I'm going to make him some stuff with it and freeze them xP

I used to like Neo games, but I'm pretty much over them at this point in my life, haha. What I reeeally hated on Neo was restocking. Egads, it was the worst.

I'm not a fan of most of the NY wearables. But I collect beanbags, plushies and stickers, plus I need all the books for my battle pet, and there's a lot of all those in there :/ I'm just hitting my second year on the site, so I have to get all the backlog, too. Last year I didn't get much of anything.

I'm with you. I hate mushrooms with a fiery passion. They're the worst. I can force myself to eat almost anything. But mushrooms and cucumbers are my NOPE foods. Maybe olives, too. That is a huge box for anyone to get rid of, even if they like them :O Poor Nathan is going to hate mushrooms by the time you're done, too, haha.

I don't know why - they just taste awful to me, pickles too. Agreed about mushroom texture, though I also kind of think they taste like dirt.

Weekend was good, went shopping at the eaton's centre (it was surprisingly packed given it's January) hung out with friends last night and played games. I'm getting to be a master at Cards Against Humanity, haha. How has yours been? Any downtime from work?

I was off this weekend for my tournament yay! And I have tomorrow off too ;) So I curled 2 games yesterday then there was a dinner and a party in the evening.. this morning I woke up a little hungover and took down all our xmas decorations then played another game. Now I'm just hanging out until I start dinner C:

Hello, lovelies. Josh moved out today and I'm not sure how I feel. I know it's for the best, but it's tough. I feel empty.

It must have been nice to have a free weekend for once, do to something for yourself! Especially if you have tomorrow off to recover from all the fun (back to work for me, boo.)

Haha, you couldn't have been worse than me. I never got that restock something with a 90+ rarity avatar for the chocolate shop. As for kads, I fed the required 75 and gave up. It took me a good 3 months of trying every single damn day after school though. I never understood how people enjoyed that - it was freaking miserable.

I think our conversations got crossed somewhere (I've been talking about a lot of games with various people :P) which video game are you talking about?

Aww, sorry to hear that :( It must be tough for you - but like you said, if it's for the best, the hurt is temporary. After you've had some time to process, you'll remember why you made that tough choice. hugs

I always seem to find something wrong in a series I read. I either get mad someone dies off, think the ending should be completely different, or like you said get mad how the stories go for some characters.

I like to think of it as discerning, though ;) Really, I don't think we're asking for too much - giant, obvious plot holes = no; out-of-character-ness = no. And if you're gonna kill off characters, make it meaningful. Not just because, oh well, whatevs, it's something to do, I guess. That's it. Very reasonable, I think. is very opinionated about books.

P.S. HP ending was the worst - only books I've ever bought and read, without fail, on the day they came out. And I really can't think of much of anything I disliked about that series. It was pretty much perfect. And J.K. is a goddess. That's all.
