Haha, that sounds like a lot of retail-type jobs, where no one wants to deal with the crazy customers. I sit at a desk all day in an office, so I actually miss that human interaction from my part-time jobs in college! These days it's all email and gchat and phone calls. I guess it just goes to show that the grass is always greener. No matter what you have there's something you miss. Most days I like my job, but it can get kind of isolating, especially since I work at a pretty small agency and don't interact with a lot of people.

I'm literally counting down the hours now :D And scrambling to make sure that I get everything done before I leave, so that (hopefully) no one bothers me :P

Well, I had a german lesson earlier, and now I'm doing quests and research for a paper my sister has to write XD

That's probably where my interested in Asian languages began honestly.

Hopefully my day goes fast! I already wish I were home and I'm only 2 out of 8 hrs in so far.

I guess I can see that side of things but as an introvert who prefers emails and computers, I think I'd still like your job more! XD I'd end up worrying about making myself get things done rather than websurfing though. My self-control is generally terrible.

Yeah, I did 3 years of chinese in HS after my mom was like;; omg it's the language of the future! Kinda put me off ALL asian languages lol.

Aw. But at least you can subeta at work :* What kind of hotel is it you work at? Like a big chain or something small? Did I ask what area you live in already?

Definitely. Guaranteed I'll get an urgent phone call about something or other, hehe. Approx. 13 hours of 'work' left, though I'm sneaking on subeta once and awhile, so there's that to break it up, hehe.

You're really serious about this German stuff - how's it coming along? Almost fluent yet? ;)

It's nice to you to help out your sister with research. I can't imagine my brothers helping me with schoolwork ever, haha.

I have good days and bad days for procrastination. Days like today where I have timelines crushing down, I get stuff done pretty well. I work well under deadlines. It's the days where I'm not too busy that my procrastination is the worst at work. I was a terrible uni student in terms of procrastination. I ALWAYS did my papers last minute, heh. AKA 2 AM the day they were due.

I'm definitely on the introverted side, too. Though I think I'm a lot better with interacting with people than I used to be. I find a enjoy breaking up the monotony of a day with conversation once in awhile. Though I definitely need my quiet personal time at the end of the day to recharge my batteries.

Oh God, No wonder.. Chinese is hell to learn. I work at a small, shabby but not the shabbiest, hotel in Bellingham, Washington. We're apart of a chain, but under a franchise, so each location could be run totally different. In my case, we're run pretty poorly. But I get a lot of freedom, so eh. I'm probably going to look for another job soon as my hours are being cut in Jan. from 40 to 24 a week.

I am an AMAZING procrastinator. Like if people could get awards for that, I'd have won one. But, I also work terrible under deadlines. Well, I guess that's not all true. It depends on the type of deadlines. I could pull off a pretty good paper the night before it was due. But studying in general? Not happening. I've gotten a lot better too since I got my first job at 20, now I'm 25 and I can buy my own stuff at a cash register! :D But I'm still introverted in that I'd rather things just get delivered to my door and left there, and I open the door and scurry them inside like a mouse :3

Yeah well, nothing much else for me to do atm aha. Lol, nowhere near even decent lol. It's so hard O_O
