I've heard of others doing Reddit secret santa, but I had no idea what it was about. I assumed it was an online-only thing. So you actually send a real person a gift? That's pretty cool. I miss doing RL secret santa, but my work doesn't have one :(
Both of those gifts sounds quite lovely!
(I love homemade scrubs, what do you put in yours, out of curiosity? I've tried just about everything that's healthy to put on your face I think :P)

Yeah! It's worldwide or you can choose to participate in your country only which is what I always do. You write up a little blurb about yourself and get a match and you send them a gift! I think I'm going to ship hers tonight or tomorrow morning. It's super exciting to come home to a package from a complete stranger! I've gotten some great gifts in the last 2 years that I've done it, plus it's just a fun and neat experience.
Do you want a facial scrub or a body scrub? I make only body ones 'cause I'm always weary of what I put on my face.
That's actually really cool. So you've always had someone return something? I'm going to look into it and see if there's still time to sign up :) When I used to do makeup swapping online, receiving packages was like Christmas every day, so I know what you mean about being excited about getting something in the mail :)
Whatever you make :) I don't really have sensitive skin and it's quite dry, so I use pretty abrasive facial scrubs to exfoliate once or twice a week. I really like trying various homemade foot scrubs, though. I've made salt, sugar, coffee, chocolate, honey, even avacado ones :P

There's a makeup gifting subreddit on Reddit, actually! I used to participate in a nail polish one and it was SO fun. But yeah I've never not gotten something! And if you don't, you let them know and people sign up to gift people who didn't get anything in the first round. I'm pretty sure sign ups closed the last week of November, but check anyways!
The one I made for this gift was white sugar, raw sugar, honey, olive oil and vanilla. Smells like cookies.
You're right, signups are closed. Oh well, perhaps next year. That's awesome, that there's a policy in place to make sure everyone gets something. Yay holiday spirit :)
That sounds yummy (scented, not for eating :P), I've never considered using raw sugar, but that makes sense, as it would be bigger granules :) I used epsom salt once, which didn't really work, as they were like rounded little pebbles. Not very scrub-like. It was like a weird massage heh.

Oooooooo, I see :o No not really :o I used to sow quite a bit, but never anything too extravagant, so I don't know anything about crochet or knitting or anything like that!
Awww, thanks dear :* How are you doing today? All better?
[edit] Christ :o I could have sworn pet slots used to be 1000 csc :o
OK I have fallen behind from just one day of studying. You guys have been talkative. Anyone online? I'm taking a /short/ break from exam review
hops up and down Here!
Aw sorry :( Are you still on the same subject?
YAY I'M NOT ALONE Ugh yes. It's my only final tomorrow so I'm trying to focus on it. I did look at my stuff for medical nutrition therapy for a bit but that final is on Wednesday so I'm hoping to just focus on that tomorrow.
dances around happily Ah that makes sense :o That subject sounds interesting :o
Are you still working while revising for your finals?
Yeah MNT is my favorite class because it is what I would be doing as an RD in the hospital. Diagnosing the nutrition related problem and coming up with interventions to solve it ^_^
Ah that does sound super interesting. Speaking of hospital, when will you know about your internship?
oh... I found out the other week. I didn't receive the position :( My professor (she was one of those that made the decision) said it came down to me and one other student and her vote was for me, but other people on the board were looking for other qualities D: I was sad, but she told me that because she said I interview very well, I'm professional, and I shouldn't let this stop me from trying somewhere else.
Aw no :( I'm sorry :(
Well that's good at least! You should lend me your interview qualities aha. Any idea where else you'll be applying?
It's okay. I was really upset at first, but maybe this is for the best. I'm usually so nervous so I'm surprised she said I interview well. Probably somewhere back home. There's more opportunities there. I'm just going to move in with my mom probably since it's only for the summer.
Positive attitude is good :D Aw, a summer at home won't be so bad :o Do you get along well with her?
Yeah ^_^ growing up I didn't at all but it's so much better now that I'm older and out on my own
