How are things? Did the giant hole make problems with clients and stuff? And did they tell you if they're closing?

Yeah business is not great right now. Owner claims we aren't closing.. no.. but it's been SUCH a mess. We didn't get paychecks on time and then they claimed they weren't going to be able to pay us the full amount we're owed. I've had a few job interviews actually. I need to get out.

Sounds like a mess. I vaguely read about you trying to get compensation for the time that you couldn't go into work. Where's that going?

Yeah I'm going to give one more spa a try.. and if that experience doesn't go well for me I'll look for a 9-5 reception job somewhere I think, but I'd like to use my skills that I've learned somewhere.

Not getting any compensation :( Laws around here are pretty strict about how long you have to be off work before you can get compensation and we weren't off long enough.

Well that sucks :( That must have been a hit for you guys moneywise.

That can be a tough time. When I graduated from school I got a job and worked for a year and HAAAATED it, but it was a way to pay my bills while I figured out what my next steps were! I hope things become clear for you soon enough.

I'm well, overall! Just got home from an evening out at the comedy club. The headliner was a good one tonight!

I can already tell you, I will probably hate my first job. But it's going to help pay for my grad school (yikes) which is going to either happen next year or the year after that. Ohh sounds fun! I've never been to a comedy club before haha.
