Yeah, 7am classes are no fun. This is my first semester with them, and I instantly regret it. It's a java programming class.

I'm the same. I never study, but I make sure I do homework. I've noticed that when I do study though, I definitely do a lot better than if I don't. I just can't be bothered though. I need a lot of me time or I'll start having like panic attacks and feeling really anxious during the day. xD Not really, but you know. I need time for me rather than spend all of my time at either work or school.

I don't restock from shops and sell them in my shop, if that's what you mean by restocking. xD I generally just quest and sell everything I get from those. Quentin is the one that makes me the most money, I would say. Those mage amulets, man! Although, I have noticed that since they got rid of the haggling I'm buying more from the NPC shops. Before it was just like, eh I'll buy from a user because I don't want to type out the words. Now I buy from the NPC shops because sometimes their prices are a lot lower than users..

You can set up different faces for each of your avatar's moods. So I have my 'happy' avatar with a blank face. My 'sad' av has lips but no eyes, my 'excited' av has a different mouth but still no eyes, etc. You can create lots of combos, and switch between them by changing your mood in the sidebar.

In the original wardrobe click on 'avatar' in the sidebar to set up features for each expression. You can choose 'no mouth' and 'no eyes' for a blank face.

EDIT: Haha, yes, studying, the bane of every student's existence. I was not a good studier but I was lucky to have a good memory. Honestly, I think marks are kind of pointless in the grand scheme of things and not necessarily indicative of if you'll be good at any future job. Some people just aren't the type that do well in a school setting, but they blossom in a hands on work setting.

Yeah, I totally agree. I'm a horrible test taker. That's what really brought me down with my calculus class. My calculus two class is a lot better right now, but we haven't taken a test yet. My teacher is all about real world experiences though, and everything is a word problem.

But I think people try to hard in school just to find out that it really isn't the same once you get out in the real world. You spend all of this time in school and college, and then you get out there and it's completely different than what you've learned or experienced.

Yep, you get five more quests per person. Five quests can be a lot, too. I mean, that's 4 more 20 point wizard tokens and 5 more chances to get a mage amulet.

I agree completely. I actually liked being in school, and I still feel like the things I learned are a very small part of what I do now. Most of things I do at my job, I learned AT my job. Most jobs provide training above and beyond and school, I think. How many jobs do you go to where they just say, 'You have a degree? Okay, you're ready to start doing everything right now.' None, that's how many :P

That's what I keep saying. xD Like, your job will almost always teach you how to do it. Yes, you'll need a bit of prior knowledge, like coding in my example. I'm expected to know how to do code, and it's not something that I would necessarily be able to learn on my own, but it's possible. Sure, having a degree is good for getting into the job you want, but you'll almost always learn what you need to learn on the job. xD

That's true, there's just so much out there to explore. And 2 million new books are published every year. It's never ending! I also like fanfiction a lot, as does my bank account. Free writing is often just as good as those books you pay $10-20 a pop for.

And the extra quests are both good and bad :/ I feel like I have to do them because they're there, but they take a lot longer, haha. 30 Major quests is just insane. I skip anything remotely annoying now.

EDIT: Yep, school is just something to do when you're not old enough to be a 'real adult' yet, haha. Being a real adult isn't fun, anyway. If I could have been a professional student I would have. Some of my TAs were in the 40s, and that's what they did. They just kept getting more degrees and made ends meet on a TA salary.

Oh, you took Latin? That's really cool! I want to learn a language, but I just don't have time. Maybe when I'm out of school and have some free time or something I can just take a little fun class to learn German or Japanese.

You and your achievements! xD I swear, joining this group has made me want to get a whole bunch of achievements too though. I'm starting to stockpile my Subeantique items for all of the achievements that have to do with that, and every plushie/beanbag/card I get from questing is going into my collections now.
