@ lau yes n___n i'm going to try to get the hang of restocking but i'm not sure which shop to start at.
is it the jump scares that you dislike or the eeriness in general? i love ghost movies myself, although some (like the ring and the grudge) left me scarred ahah
Any shop! I used to do Half Baked and the Rathskeller Inn C:
how come those two? do they sell easy?
good morning! (: how are you doing today?
Not bad, it snowed yesterday @.@ Back to work today though..~ Gonna be a longish one so I will have to hold off on Laundry another day. We go to my Bfs parents for laundry but the snow postponed us but tonight I prolly wont be done here till like 7 and it takes like an hr to get to their house. :'D So lets make them clothes stretch one more day. Dig out the really old and rarely worn stuff!

It was a very good place to work. They had very fair wages - quite a bit above minimum, you got raises based on your hours, and I had a healthcare plan, a money-matching savings plan and everything :)
Applied to a few more things, but no call backs :/ I'm trying to be picky about where I apply though. I don't want to end up somewhere just because I want to leave, rather than because it's right, you know?
I just don't like being scared, period - I'm a huge wuss. I like to think of movies as an escape from life and there's enough scary stuff IRL. I don't mind some ghost stories - depends on the context, but creepy ghosts = no. I'm okay with, Casper though, he's nice, haha ;)
Morning :) What are you upto today? Get anything good at the free shop over the weekend? :D

They do! They're quest items often and I found there were a lot of higher profit items in those shops!
That actually sounds better than my current job :D
Yeah I feel the same way! When I go to start applying in a few weeks I'm only going to apply places I think I'd be proud to say I work.
do you like snow? what kind of work do you do? i'm sorry you'll have to wait to get the laundry done, that sucks ): i still need to do mine at my mom's because there's no way to connect a washing machine where i live :c
that's a good reason if you ask me. it's weird anyway that people would willingly scare themselves, idk why i do it cx
ooooh i just bought a 100k item at halfbaked
I got a couple of things, one of them was a book that sells for 4m. :o Half the time when I check it's like "no items!!!" D=<
I like snow okay, but going out in it sucks. >.> I work for a newspaper, I put the pages together and make ads. ^^ We have hookups for washer and dryer but that's just not in our budget right now. It's kind of nice to visit the parents every Sunday though, they feed us. >:3

It's a pretty awesome job in terms of the straight compensation and support network - they take care of their staff. I was this close to staying on there and applying for management, but I decided I didn't want to work in grocery for the rest of my life - I'd be unhappy just going to work everyday, so I quit and went back to school.
Exactly. No point in moving just for the sake of it - switching jobs is a lot of effort. I like my current job and I respect everyone here enough to not just leave, if I'm not getting something out of the deal.
Nice! I have a desktop timer I downloaded, to remind myself to check again. Otherwise I'd just forget to check back if it was empty :)
I read about this - some people enjoy the adrenaline rush of being scared. Some don't. It's a brain chemistry thing. We're both normal, yay! (cough according to some people, anyway)

What'd you snag? See! It's a great shop C: Are you saving up for something?
Moving jobs is a huge pain. And I hate the feeling of starting over consistently. It's even tougher in my field because it's client based so every time you move you're starting at the bottom with no clients. So it's best to pick somehwere you like and grow your cilentele.
i feel ya. i esp hate how icy the roads get after it has snowed ): working for a newspaper sounds so cool. do you get some say in what gets published? free food is the best food B)
delicious i'm participating in the sP sprint and hoping to get to 500 mil before the 1st of march c:
omg i love scientific explanations for these kinds of things that's actually very interesting
That's true. Would you ever have clients that follow you specifically? Some people probably always work with you, and would rather follow you to a nearby location than try someone else at the same place?
There's definitely a period of learning the ropes and finding out how that company operates and what you can and can't do. I'm definitely comfortable where I am - like I know what I can get away with, and what I can't.
Science is a pretty crazy. Humans are such weird complex beings, it's pretty insane how much we've 'figured out' about ourselves and our motivations - yet none of us seem to have any idea what the hell we're doing, still :P

Yeah it's the ice I do not care for.. It's a pretty nice job, it's definitely a step up from the retail stuff I was doing before. I don't have to deal with many people. I do not really, not at this time. But in the near future I will be working on a magazine laying it out and making it presentable which is a lot of fun and great for a portfolio >_>

Great find! I find RSing relativey easy cause you normally have enough time to search the item and see if it's profitable. And if you hang out in the same shops enough you'l start to recognize the good items and just pick them up without searching! Ooooh you joined us in the sprint, yay!
They might if I didn't go far. There's actually a really nice spa a few blocks from the one I work at now that I'm considering applying to, but if it's much farther than that I doubt they'd come. I don't have a very extensive clientele as it is since I only work 2 days a week as an esthetician. I can only think of like 5 ladies who see me regularly :/
where i live most people cycle everywhere. it's literally a miracle i haven't fallen flat on my face after snow in a few years tbh i'm glad you enjoy your job! it's super nice getting paid for doing something creative haha
thanks! i have no idea what to buy though. i keep ctrl+f-ing '1 in stock' but that's probably not the right way. yes i did! hopefully i'll be able to make it this time P:
Yeah, I've always liked making graphics & drawing. Of course my job doesn't give me much chance to draw but I am able to channel my artistic sense in other ways. It's nice to do something more stimulating than just bagging groceries mindlessly for 9 hrs a day.

what programme do you use? i like your art, btw. so cute. ahahah supermarket hell. i used to work at one too. not as a cashier though, fortunately.
; ; Thank youu... For work I use InDesign to do my pages and ads. Sometimes Photoshop & AdobeIllustrator for making logos useable and stuff. At home for art I like to use paint tool sai, I prefer it over Photoshop which I used for years..
I WISH I was a cashier at the last one, we had dedicated baggers who took groceries out for customers and you were chastised if you didn't offer1209381 times to take some 22 year old mans groceries out as if he couldn't do it himself. >.> I would offer, they'd say no.. then I'd get in trouble for not insisting. -_-; That being said, I think that place just wasn't for me. I had been jaded and saw through their crap after a year + working there. Cashiering would have been somewhat preferable but then even that had it's evil & bleh side. The ONE thing I miss? The bakery & deli food. :'D
