Very true, I can't imagine playing with my parents or anything, but among friends it's pretty entertaining. The funniest part was I played with two brown people and a south american guy, so there was a whole lot of race issues that could have come up, but no one really gives it a second thought during the game.

Work isn't closed, but I'm on vacation. I took off two weeks + free holidays because my vacation time was about to expire. So I'm off until after new years! And I've been off since the 16th. It's nice not having any responsibilities for awhile :)

Oooooh! Lucky duck! I go back Wednesday so I'll have had 5 days off at that point which is a big deal for me ;)

Not sure if you missed my previous post, but I recc'ed The Good Wife (one of my all time faves) and Suits (starts out great, last few seasons have been okay.)

Also, I've been watching Jane the Virgin on american netflix (I forget where you are) - it's a comedy, so it's different than a lot of the other shows we have in common but I really like the lightness. I've been watching so many heavy dramas lately.

No probs, I delete all mine when I get overwhelmed, too :) The good thing (IMO) about those 2 shows is they're a moderate 4-6 seasons. Not too long, not too short, and both still airing :)

Jane is a parody of telenovelas, so if you liked Ugly Betty or Desperate Housewives, you'll probably like it. (Apparently. I've only seen Ugly Betty.) It's lighthearted fun, and the narrator is the best part, hehe.

Yeah I took the GRE today and I logged on once I got home only to see if trees were open. If I don't have time to sit and go through my pings I'll just delete them ;-; I know what Ugly Betty is, I've just never seen it. Haha desperate housewives is funny though. So yay for a new tv show!

Ugly Betty was a comedy from the mid-2000s-ish starring America Ferrera. It only lasted 4 seasons so not that surprising you don't know it. My mom used to watch it. Jane is a pretty new show, so you'll finish fast (1 season on netflix, wah.)

I actually watched an episode or two when it first debuted. I didn't care for it and gave up without much of a fight (this was before Netflix become glued to my TV, haha). Comedies sometimes take awhile to get into though. Do you find it's better after getting to know the characters?

Yeah I just really love the main character (Jess). She's so awkward it makes me laugh

I barely remember anything about the show, tbh. I think I maybe thought all the guys were really dull and basically interchangable? scratches head I guess I'm going to giving it a second chance, since we're netflix twinsies who clearly have great taste, hehe.

I only took off tomorrow, the rest we were closed just because the way that Christmas fell! C: So nice! Tomorrow Nathan and I are going to the gym in the morning.. other than that I'll be relaxing doing puzzles and hanging out here ;)
