Funny thing. I actually spent most of my night on Neo, for the first time in months and months. Bought a few stamps and looked around to see how things have changed. (Hint: not much) sigh So much for getting quests done early.

Since I'm in school, I don't get much reading time for pleasure. And yes you may! Read read read! I love books. Right now I've been trying to get through Stephen King's new novel Doctor Sleep but for some reason I'm having a hard time getting into it. I think I might try something lighter. Did you ever read The Giver by Louis Lowry? I had to read it in grade school and I re-read it once the movie came out. I have the next novel in the "series" called Gathering Blue so I'm hoping it's as good as the first one.

Meh, some books are like that (Honestly I had the same luck with the Mists of Avalon before it got shelved for a while) What genres do you tend to lean towards? I've been mostly reading fluffy chick lit when I get the chance ^-^ BUT! I loved the Giver so so much (on the 2nd read when I was around 13) I actually still have it on the bookshelf at my folks' house. :P I've not even considered reading the rest of the series because I just felt like it ended fine where it was XD Tell me how it goes? o-o

Honestly I range all over the place. I use this app called goodreads and it gives me suggestions based off of what I have already read. You can keep track of books you have read, want to read, and are currently reading. It's kinda neat c: Did you ever read Gone Girl? I was obsessed. The last book I finished was called Dark Places by the same author. Very strange parts to the mystery, but overall a real page turner.

Goodreads you say hmmm must check out (aka I am waiting for it to download on my phone as I type this :P ) It looks really nifty, and I do love recommendations OuO Oh lord, Gone Girl, I've never read it but it rings a bell.... WHY DOES IT RING A BELL?! WHERE IS THIS BELL?! Ahem Remind me who it is by/what it's about? Hmmm I wonder what was the last book I finished... well actually I've been reading just part of old favorites so it's been a while since I finished a book D: For me it's mostly fantasy of some form or another that I read. Or some cheesy LGBT romance :P

Hahaha it's the best app ever! You'll enjoy it if you are looking for recommendations. It's by Gillian Flynn and when it became a movie everyone suddenly become overly obsessed with it. And hey nothing wrong with that! I like fantasy and romance novels usually because they are an easy read.

If anyone has any motivation left, I'd be super glad, if you could share, because I need to go to lab and make plans for that last chunk of experiments for my masters thesis ... And for some reason it's like the last thing I feel like doing. :C And ooh, any one of you RS-ing? ^^

shares nonexistent cupcakes I'll bake during weekend, though. I might even get to go home earlier. Also, the weather here is finally turning to the colder, which is great, cause I absolutely love winter. Can snow please arrive soon? <3

Aha, this is a non chemisty explanation aha. Basically, you can either choose a phd subject straight away, or you can join a program where you start with one year of classes and rotations in different labs, and at the end of the year you do a phd in one of the labs where you had a rotation. I'm leaning towards those programs because I'm having a hard time deciding what I really want to work on. If that makes sense?

A lot of good and bad news in that post, there! Congrats on the new job! Is it a part-time thing on top of what you do, or are you switching jobs completely?

Exactly. When you put it like that... I sound like the ultimate procrastinator. Which is probably true, actually ;) The site was actually kind of depressing - nothing has changed, which makes it feel like it's just existing, or slowly dying.

It happens to the best of us. There was a pretty big stretch of time there where I didn't do any quests, either, and sometimes I'd even forgot to autoprice. Sometimes when you're busy or stressed, even doing another simple task that's somewhat 'responsible' like remembering to do quests is just too tiring.

That's a very methodical (and smart) way to do it. I still stumble upon items I didn't know were wearable, or find new things I love that I didn't know existed.

Yeah, exactly, as much as I don't really want to be here, I don't want to leave my coworkers in a tough spot. I like them. Something that fits will come along eventually. I'm optimistic! (For once in my life ;))

I actually got kicked out of my guild for being inactive, haha. Oops. Oh well, it was probably for the best. I'm never on there. I just check in once every few weeks to see if there's a plot or something interesting, but nope.

Tea is pretty awesome, though I have to admit, I'm more of a coffee person!

If I've learned anything, it's that the world is full of procrastinators. Everyone puts off stuff they don't feel like doing. So we're not alone! I feel super accomplished when I finish all my quests cough except CinthaandCursedandBattleandCarl because who has time for ALL of those?

Masters thesis eh? That sounds intense. I considered doing a masters but long-term academia wasn't for me. What's your subject?

I'm hoping for snow before Christmas too. I'm okay if it doesn't come until December though, because it makes my commute easier. Though I could just call in that I'm working from home!

P.S. You're doing great, not awkward at all :) Starting random conversations is great. It's more awkward when someone isn't chatty, and you don't know how to keep a conversation going ;)

Yeah! I applied to teach at the college, teaching esthetic courses. And if I like it I might try and branch out and use my biology degree and teach a few of those courses as well!

Still haven't heard anything from the car rental place, or the guy who hit my car.. but I have an appointment tomorrow morning to have my car looked at by a garage, at least.

Yay for optimism ^^ That makes sense. Keep everyone happy, much less stressful!

BLASPHEMY! Lol. I used to like coffee but now it makes me sick. So I'm 100% a tea person, and happy about it aha. Though it makes life awkward sometimes: 'hey want to come for a cup of coffee with us' - co-workers 'um I don't drink coffee and the tea they make is awful' -me awkward silence

Welllllll... I've sorta put it on hold for the moment, because I want to autoprice and make a ton of sp for black friday.... I've been removing any doubles I have from my gallery and putting them into my shop.

But I've been using sp voucher every day, and that is fantastic! I might get to the end of it with only those though it doesn't help with the different items one...
