Hello! Today we had Dr. Seuss Day and pajama day in the second grade class, so we made green eggs and ham, watched Horton Hears a Who, made ice cream sundaes, and watched The Cat and the Hat. It was just a really fun day overall. :) How has your day been?

Hahaha I was worried that the kids wouldn't want to eat them because they were green, but they understood pretty easily that it was just food coloring.

I basically begged to leave early. xP It was DEAD and there were 3 of us in my department and there really only needed to be 1 of us so I asked to leave 3 hours early. I don't get paid, but whatever! I got an evening at home to lay around and drink tea!

I saw it online and on top of that it was just a really boring film with terrible dialogue.

Don't blame you, that sounds like it would have been pointless having all of you there. And any excuse to sit at home all cozy wiht tea is good in my books.

Did you get the snow and freezing rain that we did? It was a miserable day here, so I left a bit early too.

It was. I was like well you could pay me to stand around and pretend to work.. or you could send me home, haha.

Yeah! It was snowing while I was on my way home from work actually. Took a little longer than it normally does, but oh well. Made it home in one piece!

Before I was salaried, I'd always be the one to volunteer to go home early too. I'm like you, I hate standing around and being inactive. I need to do something at all times.

Yuck :( It feels like winter has been never-ending this year. I can't wait for spring to finally roll around.

Yeah. I worry that it makes me look bad, but meh. I don't ask like every shift, haha. Probably once every 3 weeks-ish.

I actually just booked myself a trip outta here in a few weeks! I need to get away from the cold xP

Eh, I don't think it matters. It just means you don't like sitting around and being paid for nothing. They're saving money, so I'm sure they don't mind.

Oh fun! :) I've been and it's nice. I went before the US embargoes were lifted though, so they didn't have some strange things like ketchup, maple syrup and brand-name coke, etc. You'll have to let me know if that's changed, haha.
