Nope! It's not cycling. It's just a half hour class, all core... but they consider core to be from shoulders to knees. I tried it this morning. Yikes.
That sounds good, actually. My core is where I need most work, I think. I have weak abs :P

Me too, haha. I accidentally picked the highest resistance tubing too.. whoops. So if you go, take purple not orange!! I think I'd try again, yeah. There's a 30 minute step class before it so maybe next week I'd try both! :o
Spin is okay. I've only been once and I went alone, actually. I got the teacher to help me adjust my bike. Nathan and his mom used to go to spin twice a week.. and he lost like 25 lbs doing it!
I don't think I've seen that equipment in the classroom, they must keep it locked up! But I'll remember that.
Because I work during most days, it's hard to make the schedules work to try new classes. And I believe the spin classes at my gym start at 5 or 6 in the morning :/ No thanks.
Ugh, men lose weight so easily. My dad or brothers will get sick for a week and lose like 10 pounds. I get sick, I gain 5 pounds from sitting on the couch and eating chocolate in misery :/

Yeah spin classes around here are that early too.. or at like 4 or 5 and its SUPER busy then. I try to go to the classes around 8:30 - 9:30.
I KNOW. I hate men. I've been the same weight for about 2 years now... and that's WITH going to the gym. Not that I'm really TRYING to lose weight.. but.. you know.. it's nice. xP

Really it's busy then? I guess the pre-work demographic? I usually go around lunch-time, or 4-5 at night. I like working out in the afternoon.
I've been around the same weight my whole adult life, size 10-12 depending on the clothes. Never been a skinny girl. I thought maybe once I joined a gym, I'd lose a little, but nope, not a pound - though I do think I'm stronger and heathier now :) I think I'd really have to change my diet in order to lose weight. But like you, I've never really actively tried.

Eating habits are tough to break, for sure. I know my eating habits could be a lot better in so many ways. Eating healthy requires effort, though. Eating crap, not so much.

It's hard for sure. I've made myself a rule though. No eating after 8PM unless I work til like 9 and then I can have ONE piece of fruit. Better than the whole bowl of popcorn I've been having lately xP

That's a good rule to have. I certainly never follow that. I get home at 7:30 most days, so it would be tough.
Popcorn is actually good for you if it's not buttered and only lightly salted. Too bad it tastes boring like that :P
