Aw that sounds like so much fun! Banana bread sounds delishious as well :D I need to find some gluten free recipe for it.
You don't see her very often do you?
Mh... I don't really know any of his older work, other than the kill bills to be honest :o But yeah, Inglorious basters was fantastic. Have you seen the new one?
btw, I went to see star wars the other day :D
The 3D effects were pretty good! Like you said, plotwise, nothing new aha. But overall it was good. I quite like the girl, and I guess the main guy would... grow on you.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
Sad han solo died of course... But I don't think he'd be up to to many more movies anyways, and it looks like we're on for a trilogy XD
you shouuuuld they're so good ;v; that song is lovely! i really liked the whistle thing they did.
that sounds fun, tell us if you get anything nice! P;
lmao poor pets ;v; like dragons! they're supposed to stay near their hoard so how do they eat? they don't
Yeah :D I might do. My mom isn't a great fan of his though, so I'll have to convince her to watch them XD
@ moriarty Lol, are you talking about putting your pets in the lodge?
I don't either XD If you put them in the lodge then you have them all there as options when you go to battle=annoying. I only have mercernaire in there because he's my battle pet.
Yeah, there's something nicer about getting all pampered when you don't have to bundle up and hide out inside. Speaking of which, it's -11 here today :/
I know :/ I'm suddenly having one of those guilty feelings again. puts all pets in the lodge Good point, all my pets are "dragons in training" - they just look like other things. shifty eyes
Yup, stuff like Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction - I was never a fan. I liked Django and IB though. I haven't seen Hateful Eight, but I hear it's decent. I'll probably watch it when it comes around to netflix :P
OMG STAR WARS
Yup, I really feel like this star wars is setting up for the next one more than anything else. I'm interested to see what they'll do for the sequel. I liked all of the new characters, other than the villain, honestly - he's a bit too generic and darth-vader-redux IMO - I don't really feel the evil, aside from him killing Han Solo and all, which seemed kind of predictable and forced. You knew as soon as they went on that pointless bridge, haha. But that new robot is freaking adorable.

Ouch. It's gotten colder here too, but not that cold :o
Ooo, pulp fiction, I forgot that was him. I did quite like pulp fiction :o Though I'm not as obsessed with it as so many people are. Lol, good plan. I'll probs make my parents take me XD (has no friends here atm)
star wars madness
The end was TOTALLY just that.
Yeah. I have absolutely no idea who the mega villain is meant to be. I wish they'd explained how things got to that point a bit better. Maybe some flashbacks instead of someone just saying: oh yeah, he's gone because of this, remember?
He is :D /totally only watches star wars for the robots and funky hairstyles
It's chilly here today, too! I just shoveled the driveway.. we got like 8cm of snow last night.
She ended up going to visit our cousin so I'm around a little longer ;)
Time to quest! I need some music to go along with it. Suggestions?
@ pac exactly! and you can't feed them stuff for gourmand either. merc has the best name for a battle pet haha
@ kristy i'm pretty sure i brought this up, sorry c': also whaaaaaaaaaaaaat how can you not like kill bill
i only listen to the doors so that's my suggestion
Hmm. Not a huge Doors fan. I think I want to listen to some country music this morning ;) What are you up to today?
Ooo, I see. Mh, I'm really into monsters and men right now.
Thanks :D I love him aha. Mh, well, I have my gourmand pet, who's also my secondary battle pet and merc. When you only have to choose between two pets it's not bad.
can't help you with any country music recommendations, i'm afraid cx work rescheduled appointments about three times before cancelling so i didn't bother going in and gave myself the day off. you?
I'll check them out! What are you up to today? Also you're gluten free? I didn't know that!
That's kind of annoying! I hate when my clients all get moved. Emily (my sister) and I are going to do our errands after lunch and then I have a dodgeball game tonight!
@ lau in their defense, someone called in sick after they tried to reschedule it a few times haha you play dodgeball? that sounds fun!
what is the point of having a second battle pet? o:
Oh, boo. What kind of work do you do, again? I seem to forget! We do, yeah! It's actually SO fun and you get a really good workout from it!
It came out when I was fairly young - maybe 13 or so? It scared the crap out of me! I couldn't finish it, and have had bad feelings about it every since. I admit that it might have been age-related. Same with Sin City - it was just way too gruesome for my poor fragile self :P
It's just starting to snow now, so I have a feeling getting home from work is going to be a HUGE pain in the ass :/ At least the mall shouldn't be too packed for you - though I'm been surprised how busy our mall is on weekends - usually January is slower.
Netflix has been doing pretty good about getting new movies on within a year or so, so I don't mind waiting a bit. They've had all QT's latest ones, so I'm pretty sure H8 will show up eventually.
starwarstheme
Exactly, they didn't really make me believe he had motivations for being evil. It was like a little kid throwing a tantrum and deciding jedi school was too hard, so now he's omg-so-evil, like grandpa. They definitely needed more backstory on him. They spent way too long hiding his identity for 'suspense.'
Haha, totally with you. I've never really been a star wars geek, but I really enjoyed this one. Pretty sure that bb was intended to attract a female audience. shrugs Worked on me.

Ah we're going to Costco which is ALWAYS packed regardless of the occasion ;)
textile studio c: it's lovely but it's super chaotic and can be disorganised so i don't mind not going for the day. it sounds like a lot of fun!
lmao i had a scary movie marathon on my 14th birthday including kill bill and at least one saw movie ;v; never saw sin city, though. it just looks weird to me.
Gotcha. Did I ever mention I used to work at costco during uni? Gawd, weekends were... insane. I swear, every square inch of the place was packed with people or carts. I don't know why anyone would want to shop in that, and come back next weekend to do it all over.
I hate scary movies. I draw the line at thrillers - I can handle some well-timed suspense and mystery, but I don't like straight up horror and gore. Sin City was weird - the cinematography is all red/black/white - it's supposed to look like a comic book; I guess it succeeded in that regard, but it's definitely not my thing.
