World of Warcraft is an MMO about two factions constantly at war, the Horde and the Alliance. The Alliance is humans, dwarves, night elves, gnomes, and others. The Horde is orcs, trolls, tauren (cow and bull people), and blood elves. There's no real good guys vs bad guys, because both factions have done both good and bad things, but the war will never end. Even when the Alliance and Horde join together to fight a common enemy, like a massive dragon trying to destroy the world, they go back to fighting each other afterward.

It sounds like a lot of Player vs Player, but there's an enormous world to explore and do quests in, called Azeroth. Each region has it's own look and feel, and each culture has it's own architectural style. Even the animals and plants go with the region. Wandering the world is where I spend most of my time.

Like most games, you pick which class you want to play. They're pretty traditional; warrior, hunter, paladin, warlock, priest, etc. I play a mage. I cast spells that mostly do damage to my enemies, but also have fun and useful ones like conjuring food and turning people into sheep.

Today I work at the store. They ended up calling me in for my shift :( Ugh. That means no evening off this week for me. :(

Ugh, it's been one meeting after another today. I've had 4 meetings so far. I'm so ready for today to be over, so I can go home and wallow online :P

I priced my shop super early, and have enough to get a gold account. I'm debating whether I should do that now, or wait until I have a little more saved up, in case I need something.

WoW is another of those sites I'm scared of becoming addicted to, haha. It does look fun but, yeah.

Oh WoW isn't a website, it's a full on game, 3D world. And the reason people get so "addicted" to it is because they get attached to the characters they worked so hard on. That's why people stay with WoW for years. But it's not for everyone.

:( I'm a little depressed today. Bad weather does that to me. Maybe I should bundle up and take a walk.

I think you're right. I'm going to build up my savings a bit first.

I know. I understand people getting overly attached. I would too! I like games as much as the next person, but I tend to lean towards games that have a definitive end, unless they're something more casual like this site :) My all time favourite game series is Zelda :)
