I do know why it did that (the same reason daily avatar likes didn't carry over), but that is what was fixed here haha

They may seem like they aren't important to you, but this (likes) is something that is called on every forum post and every news topic. Fixing it (and moving it to the new system I talked about a little on the item prices page) will help longterm stability a lot. :)

@Cresenta It does :( But! The system works now, people can start liking you again and it'll actually add to your overall likes instead of resetting every night ;)!

They are on a quick (5 second!) cache.

@Cresenta The problem is that it didn't actually add daily. If you went at 11PM (subeta time) it'd show all your daily likes + total, but if you went at 12:01AM it'd have reset to the same amount as the day before. It was entirely broken. It's fixed now, but it required a reset :(.

Ohhh, there is a limit to the number of things you can like. That shouldn't apply for forum posts - pushing a fix now :)

I agree. I removed the number from the petinfo page, and added it to the pets page (private).

I need to add a better method of telling you that you're close / have hit your limit. Right now it just stops working.

I totally understand :( Like I said in one of my earlier posts - it was just completely broken. If you got likes during the day, they never actually added to your total count.

It's actually incredibly likely that you've had a lot more likes and they just never got added to your total, which is resolved now :(

1 per pet and it sticks around with that pet even if its adopted / abandoned!

It actually goes by the last 24 hours, now.

Just pushed a fix for not calculating how long it's been since you liked things correctly. You should be able to like avatars/etc again :)

Also: Just made it so that likes roll over at midnight instead of being 24 hours :)

If not I'll totally change it, I just rewrote huge chunks of the code and can't remember!
