Meh, today was the first day I got nothing. The day might not be over yet, but I signed up pretty early and already sent my items - no answer.

So far on the other days I just got junk, I kinda regret giving up nice items. Sure it's about giving and not receiving, but still. If MM was just about giving, I could have also use the gift center. And the saddest part about it is that the cheapest item on my wishlist costs 1500 sP, and I would be grateful to receive that. The gift center option is really nice though, I hope I gave out some nice wishlist items at least.

But it's just my first year doing MM, maybe my luck will change within the next days.

ok today's MM was horrible. I feel like they only signed up to get tons of free stuff. They signed up after me and I sent a few hey how are ya kinda things, and what did I get in return. nothing, nadda, zilch.

Wow....so not impressed MM, so not impressed. Hopefully tomorrow's will be better.

Well on the gift center page it says You have a Mysterious Melody partner!. If you want, we can send this gift directly to them, and we'll even try to pick an item from their wishlist worth this amount!

and I have gotten things that were on my list so I'd imagine it must be true or my MM is psychic! LOL

My mm today is pretty good, I'm just not sure how well their grasp of English is. They're using the preset messages in kind of strange ways. Asking me questionsand sending responses I just sent them instead of answering with yes or no. Which is alright it just confuses me sometimes.

Kinda sad this year, i got nothing two days in a row and today i got a ton of junk. I gave out some nice things to all my partners all days so it's disheartening.

My bad! First year with MM I'll do better :D

(Just like my MMs have done better. I don't care if we're sending expensive things back and forth, I just like sending random holiday things or just non-junk things back and forth. I'm such a hoarder, I'll take anything :D)

My MM finally responded with an item, then disappeared again.

It's a hit and miss with MM for me, sometimes I get a partner and they don't send anything, so I send them a few inexpensive things and that's it. I do love the message drop down box, that comes in handy. I hope the members I get enjoy my little gifts, it comes from the heart.

It does! I don't think it did before. Either that or I need to learn to read.

My MM today has been great about responding when I send things. Then we take short breaks and pick up again. :)

Okay, new day, new attempt at coded message, so far it's not looking good.

ETA Yep, just random items and no messages, but hey, that's fine, I can use the gift center and send random items with no messages back.

Well, I'm assuming today is a dud for me (or there are people who sign up, then log right out, idk). Signed up right when it changed, waited a few minutes, then sent a 'Hello' gift. Wasn't too expensive (I've learned my lesson sending expensive first gifts) and they haven't responded at all. Not even a 'junk' item. First completely silent one this year, but that's okay. Means I'll have more to use for a responsive MM.

My MM started so well, but the quality and amount of their gifts declined to the point where they were giving me a single fairly unimaginative gift per round. I toned down the value and frequency of my gifts in turn, and I think they've realised that I'm not going to automatically give them exciting stuff if they're not going to put much effort in on their end, and I've not heard from them in a while.

My MM was going very well today. They were matching or exceeding and at least seemed happy about what I was giving them. Even when they weren't quite matching they were still sending things they knew I'd like (we were communicating a very small amount) with thank you messages. Then I gave them an item from the cash shop and they disappeared. Well, they sent back one junk item no thank you message and haven't been on since. Even a cheap item in the category we discussed or a junk item with a thank you would have been better. I'm not sure what they meant by it actually. They were being so polite and then disappeared. D: This kinda sucks. I needed a pick me up. Oh well. Hopefully a better MM tomorrow.

The day's MM said hello, sent an item and vanished. :( I asked if are they around a few hours ago, but still no answer Well, okay...

after doing mm these past two days (against my better judgement) i've finally gotten some good partners! even got two rather expensive wistlist items! i've been trying to match prices as best i can but it's getting trickier! thanks, mm's, for making it difficult for me and actually responding!

I am so glad some people are getting better matches. I have done in years past and not been impressed but, decided to give it another go this year. So far I am still not impressed. Some do not even respond at all, even with a little thing. Some toss a few little things and no message. In the past I would save up some cool stuff to toss out and send them 4 - 6 gifts and then follow up with more if they responded. I have to say I have never gotten anything from my wishlist or over 50,000 ever. This year I was starting with doing 100,000sP Gifting thing hoping that it was getting them some smaller thing on their wishlist. That is not working. Am I being too cheap to start out with?

I am wondering if there is a thread somewhere of MM people laughing about all the cool stuff they got without making any effort. Sorry I guess that is mean for me to say.

I have not had very many good matches this year, though I do still send nice things regardless of what others send me. I did have one good partner this year who matched the frequency of my gifts. While they were not matched in value, I don't really care. It's the thought that counts! :)
