Things were going so well these past few days. Then, the inevitable dud. :( Oh well.

Seriously, 7 junk MMs in a row? If any of my MMs are reading this, y'all should be ashamed. You people make the Grinch look good. X.x

In all the years I've been participating in MM, I don't think I've seen so many Greedy Grinches. From the givers to the takers. It's the principle of the game. We give because we want to and if you find yourself with a taker, stop giving. Simple as that. Take a day or two off from participating to freshen up and get back into the spirit of the game. Just don't let the Greedy Grinches (who seem to be in it only for themselves) get you down.

That's not to say that all of my MMs have been appreciative or nice, I've had a few takers this week. Even had the pleasure of encountering a really nasty MM that sent me a few negative message items attempting to bait me for more than I was was willing to give at that point - as I had thought out a wonderful theme for that day. Simply sent them the last bit I had planned and let them know I was off.

Haha, I think we might have had the same MM! Yours sounds exactly like one of my earlier ones, right down to the baiting items.

, you never know... Despite having 117,266 active players there is still a high chance of getting this individual. Makes me wonder just how many of the us there are participating each day... Now that's a statistic I'd like to see updated.

As for using items to send messages, I don't think we should be able to send nasty messages unless of course the user is being down right mean or ugly, like this one particular coal-hearted soul.

Yesterdays MM has been really nice. We exchanged a few gifts, then I had to leave. In the afternoon Subeta went haywire for me, so I couldn't send more, sadly. Todays MM hasn't send me anything yet, but oh well. I always send a few gifts to start it off (and now with the message system it should be easier to send a little old 'ello), but I guess some people just enjoy getting gifts.

Another nice MM tonight. We sent some nice random items back and forth. Didn't get anything awesome, but it was great to - once again - get an active MM. They haven't responded to what I sent last, so I'm assuming they either went to sleep or got tired. Maybe I'll send some last gifts tomorrow before it resets just in appreciation.

today's MM is the epitome of awesome! I'm trying to keep up but I'm struggling to match awesomeness with awesomeness. (Makes up for the last few duds) YAY! Hope is restored!

My MM was quite sweet today, but only hung around for one round. Why don't you want to exchange gifts with me throughout the day? It seems that using the "Happy Holidays" or "Have a great Luminaire" messages with one of their first gifts is a good indication that they don't intend on sticking around. I've had maybe three people do that now.

I've only had one good MM so far :( Hopefully tomorrow will be better as today's hasn't responded at all!

My MM has been lovely so far today; they sent me a bunch of lovely gifts and then had to leave and that's fine, today is a little busy for me too. ^-^ I hope we can continue to exchange gifts later on but if not that's okay, I'm just happy to have a nice MM for once this year. :3 I hope they enjoy my gifts!

I always hate leaving my MM as soon as I sign up, but most are appreciative when I gift them later that day. I haven't heard from my MM since way earlier though, and I gift-bombed them not too long ago. I hope it's just 'cause they're a bit busy in RL right now...

I like the random thing since it does pick from their wishlist if they have one and there is an item in the sP range you chose.
