If it shows as 10, clear your cache. It should be 25. :) I've checked with a programmer on this and it's not something we can push, it's a thing dealing with your browser.

We are doing a limit this year to help stop the lag and crashing. We are going to keep an eye on it, so we might be upping it later in the event.

Well, after you add so many decorations the trees start to lag really bad and sometimes crash the window, that's why we got the limit on. Like I said, we'll be watching it to see if we can raise it some later. :)

They aren't on the avatars yet because the forums have changed since last year. just has to update the code to get them on! :)
