Sorry for the short alert message, guys! must have been in a hurry last night. As many of you have already speculated, YES, this is in regards to the cash shop coupon codes that we have given away in previous years (but are no longer available to obtain if you don't already have one). There aren't many left out there, but the ones that still exist are wreaking havoc on the system on the back-end. We typically disable these coupons during large-scale sales such as this, and this time around, we just forgot to do it ahead of time. We'll be disabling the coupon codes for the duration of the sale in order to correct the issue that's occurring with a lot of people's shopping carts, and the codes will be re-enabled after the sale. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused any of you - if you had an issue with your individual coupon code, please make sure to include that in your ticket information (including the code you attempted to use) so your assigned UA can take care of it for you.

Just pinging for everyone who saw the blue bar, was confused, and wanted to see the staff clarification.

Glad to see this just applies to the sale. I still have a coupon code that I haven't used yet.

Just popping in to clarify - We never have coupons enabled for these kind of sales and it was an oversight that they weren't turned off.

Which caused people to put hundreds (sometimes thousands) of items into their carts which caused the carts to crash and tons of work for the UAs and programmers to fix.

So we've disabled them but I wanted to give a little bit of advance notice so it wasn't completely unfair for the people who were able to use theirs on the first day.
