That's correct - you'll no longer need to cut out the HA from backgrounds for submission :D

Just as a quick note - I am super excited about having the option to do full bgs now, but while they do make new options available, you are trading off the ability to use a background cutout to tailor bulky clothing pieces into slimmer ones. I know it's a trick I've used in past HAs and I'm sure some of you have as well. So that may be something to keep in mind when deciding whether to make a background solid, or cutout!

Sorry, but no. This would require a lot of extra work for us, and we would essentially have to charge you in order to do this. So for now, no.

I already announced you don't need them for BGs? Just a few posts above this one. But yes, you'll still need to conform other items to go properly around the HA

[edit] If you want to submit a version of an already-accepted BG without the HA cutout as a new recolor, that's fine, but it won't replace the old one (repinging)

I don't understand what you mean. What differs a "BG item" from a "BG"?

Nothing needs the HA cut out now, regardless of what it is.

Addendum however, that if you DO want to continue removing the HA, you can - some people like to use them to create certain looks, and we're not goin to punish you guys if you do decide to cut it out! It's your choice :)

the ONE exception to this will be if you want something to appear both in front and behind the avatar, like multiple cats/bunnies/birds etc in one wearable. The ones behind the HA will still need to be cut out, because the avatar base cannot be in two places at once. I hope that makes sense!

I'm personally fine with it, it would just have to be submitted as a recolor, basically.
