last watched episode was the one were Lady Sif and that Kree show up and Skye manifests in front of them all.
Oh last week's ep. It was fun, if a bit abrupt. Would you rather catch up or would you want to talk about this week's ep? (or at whatever point you'd like if you want to talk about AoS/MCU)
I'm up to speed.

Finally watched the current episode.
Love Calvin (Skye's father). The crazy I likeXD
Finally got caught up to the final episode!
I was kind of disappointed that Blackbolt or Medusa didn't show. When they mentioned "the elders", I was thinking of them, since AoS is going along in building up the Inhumans dealio. Then again, I somehow doubt it would look impressive to Skye if she was told "Oh, yeah, we're technically under a monarchy."
I guess they're playing around with the Inhumans hiding place and treating it more like that universe's Shangri-La. I'm so out of the loop with Marvel's continuity now it's not even funny.
Am I the only one who really, really doesn't care about Lance Hunter? I get that he is supposedly a Ward replacement in the script, but I seriously don't think he contributes anything truly vital to the overall scheme. He could literally die and everyone else would function just fine without him in the story. Ever since his introduction, I've just felt he was an unnecessary addition to the show. Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me being nitpicky? And it's not because I was a fan of Ward either (I actually find him to be an insufferable sociopath), but at least there was some sort of storyline to go along with Ward. Lance Hunter to me is just... meh.

did you guys catch the latest episode? What did you think of it?
A problem with the Inhumans origins being used in AoS (if I'm remembering correctly, not a comic book reader) is that some of their story is in the Fantastic Four comics which means the same studio that does AoS doesn't have the rights to that comic book.
There's a lot of ''can't use because another studio owns this part'' with the MCU.
I liked the last episode and Gonsalez's expression of ''wait?! Fury is alive?!'' XD
I'll be having my vlog review of it up hopefully tomorrow. Doing more of my readthrough tonight :)
simmons has changed so radically! Im increasingly getting apprehensive about Gonsalez idealogy and smart but hasty use of raina's gift to show the ultron tie-ins.
I can't wait to see the Avengers this weekend! I can hardly contain my hype right now! :D
I loved Gonsalez's reaction at the end! The sheer "Wait, waaaa?" of the moment totally seemed to break his psyche a little bit in not knowing that Fury was still kickin' while Coulson was in the know the whole time.
Ward is so full of crap. I really don't buy the "I am trying to redeem myself" schtick. Just when he seemed he was going to fully own up to his actions when he was a Hydra agent, he goes for the "Woe is me, I had a crappy childhood, please understand..." BS. As May pointed out, having daddy-issues doesn't justify you acting like a sociopathic butt hat. Ward was disappointed in Simmons, but frankly, I liked seeing her grow a pair.
Uh... RIP Bakshi? Truthfully, I never seemed to really acknowledge the character even when he's in the episode, so... Oh, well?

HERE is my review of the latest episode.
Yeah, Simmons is someone you don't want to mess with now. Even Ward was like, 'well shit, that's dark'.
Gonsalez seems too similar to Hydra in terms of people with superpowers.
Coulson was awesome in that bit.
May puts up with no one's bs. Not even the 'hey, I had it hard growing up' bs that CERTAIN books seem to think is an okay reason to be an ahole.
idk, i mean i did not like ward to being with but thematically loyalities, conflicting loyalities and conflict between 'loyalty' and 'doing the right thing' or worse loyalty is the right thing mentality of ward makes him a very gray character. We keep seeing the first three themes over and over again. Also the bigger influence on ward was rainas comment 'you can be monsters together' . I also was wondering if calvin will ever be held accountable for aiding hydra to weaponise the obelisks effect on normal humans?
After watching the season finale, I'm glad they gave Cal a chance to lead a normal life instead of locking him up to punish him for the crimes he committed. No point locking up and tormenting an already repentant person when he can contribute to the community with his medical skills. Refreshing change from the once-a-villian-always-a-villian label characters get the moment they commit a major crime. I honestly think that Ward would have changed for the better had he been given the chance.
I've managed to catch up. The show has a lot of interesting storylines and I can't wait for the next season, which I think starts very soon, doesn't it? The ending of the last episode though...that was unexpected. I hope everything turns out to be alright...
