Right. You'll gain them all in the skins panel and can use them any time. :)

We're also really excited because this opens up some fun opportunities for us to hand out skins for achievements and events :)!

We have some plans, but we aren't really rushing to let people go back and zap again, or anything. The same skins will be available next year and will fit into the same system.

I've been working on the base thing for awhile and it all came together recently, so it got released when it was ready to go out.

You'd have only been able to keep one skin anyway :) The claim button only gives you what is currently on your avatar.

Like I said, one of the cool things about this addition is that we can give out skins via achievements, and we plan to make use of that. No one will have to wait a year to see a new skin in their wardrobe :).

Nope, because of how it works now it replaces your entire base (whereas before just sort of went over top of it) with the skin.

So now you'll only be able to wear one at a time.

Basically you redeem your zombie skin, and you can switch into it whenever you want. If you need to go to skitters, you can turn on the zombie skin, and turn yourself human when you're done :)

If you don't claim them, you'll be able to keep them for the forseeable future, but at some point we'll probably require switching to the new system.

You'll be able to go in the year your skin was from.

I just pushed a fix that may ahve solved this for you. Try clicking choose again :)

We don't have any plans to bring back the earlier stages of infections.
