ugh yeah that achievement is a pain to get. I had to give all the expensive items to a friend to at least have a chance haha. The achievement that will hunt me forever is the one for having just one pet in my account. I mean, no matter how many pets you have, of course you had only one at first :c

wow that's an insane hoard! You have no idea how much I envy you haha. The hoarding achievements are one of the hardest ones to get imo. Good luck getting the 1k you need!

yeah I have been working on this hoarding since the day it came out back in 2009! Also when it is done I will have so much collections to add to and then selling everything! It will probably take an extra 5 years to sell it all! and You will earn 17,162,083,477 sP if all of the items sell at their lowest price. this of course doesnt include the things priced at 0 :p

A group of people actually just did richest user a month (or two?) ago. :) Pretty much takes teamwork (a LOT of trust) and hoping for no taxing :p

I am going to do it. I am going to wait. I finally decided - my collections can wait!

I would cry though if I finally got the achievement, sold a lot off then they came out with a new tier. ;_;

yes I know what you mean - that is why I have been hesitant that he will add new tiers instead of retiring it.

He already said he wont add more layers to it. He hates it right now as it is and has been talking about retiring it. I dont know if he will or not. He and the staff were trying to think of a way to do it so the items are in your vault and not in a shop. The way the shop loads it loads ALL the images which is a real drain on servers. I guess the vault is figured so it only loads one page at a time. I am not sure exactly how it was worded but that is the gist of it. I am just glad that he isnt going to just retire it all together :D

I don't expect to get it anytime soon if that helps. :D It is more or less the "light at the end of the tunnel" for me. Once my hoarding is done, I fill my collections from it, then whatever is left over...will possibly get me pretty close!

In theory if I sold everything on my account at current price I'd only be a couple hundred mill short. (EDIT: Just rechecked and it's worth over 6b. Oh IF ONLY lol - also noticed the user now has over 33b. Yeah, I quit that one!)

Did you actively buy items to put on the hoard? Or did you just throw every item you got? Because I've been doing the later for a few years too and I'm nowhere close to 38k items :'D I don't put the items in my collections on the hoard, but still, that'd make just like 2k more items.

I am not sure about Taffy, but I personally try to WL all the items I need (especially for collections) so I know straight away if it is an item I don't have (so it'll work for the hoard too) and I snap it up if it is a good price :D

I actively buy for the hoard :) I am selling all the extra (emptied wardrobe) and using this to buy more :)
