I'm compassionate about pets even on pet sites, I try to adopt first :P and only make one if I can't find one of the right species. I'm not much of a creative writer because I'm always kind of embarrassed by it, I'd like to get better but I need to get over this weird shyness first. I really admire people who can get their stories down on paper.

I just wanted to let you know that i feel so sorry for you for having to go through this again. I know what a horrible thing it is. Not personaly , but close relatives of mine suffort from cancer. Don't give up. Keep your head up and don't be afraid. You are a strong woman! My thoughts are with you!

If i want to cheer up i listen to Queen music. It gives me goosebumbs and makes me want to dance and sing. Look for a band or artist who's songs lift up your spirit. Be crazy ! Jump, laugh and dance. Also nature does wonders also! I don't know if your up for it but walks in nature do wonders! Fresh air !

Too bad about the kitty. :( But the rats will be fun too. I always wanted a rat. Someone on tumblr I knew had a pet hairless rat and she'd knit it little sweaters, but he didn't wear them long, he always ate them off. XD Do you know what kind of rats they'll be? I love the dumbo rats with the big ears. They're so cute and derpy-looking. You'll have to post pictures when you get them!

And as far as showing love to a total stranger...that's kind of just who I am. I feel for everybody. I really do hope you pull through this, it's not just something to say.

In keeping rats you actually must have two. They are social and due to their sleep schedule it is just impossible for a human to give them what they need. I love dumbos but I will be rescuing pinkies (newborns) from a snake feeder bin and hand-raising them so they will likely be standard-eared.

I might have to take you up on your offer someday :) How's your day going?

Aww, that's great you're rescuing them. And standard-eared are just as cute. I didn't know rats were that social like that. Hermit crabs are too, actually, which is something not many know. I keep those (3 at the moment) and it's funny how they actually have personalities. You wouldn't think such a creature would.

Sorry I didn't get back to you, Monday afternoon I fractured my knee. /: I was at the doctor about it all day Tuesday and I've just been in horrible pain since, it's not helping that I have a regular knee brace on as opposed to the splint I need (that's coming either today or tomorrow) and I have an infant to care for an a house to pack so I haven't been off it as I should be.

I actually purchased a hermit crab heating pad for the pinks, I was thinking about getting some once the rats were done with it. I keep fish and I understand how people don't think such animals don't have a personality. I've had larger fish actually break tanks because I was wearing a color they didn't like, lol.

I wish I could say something to help, but I'm just reiterating what others have said. ): But you've beaten it before, so even though it's really tough and I can't understand what you're doing through, please hang in there for yourself and for your family and kick cancer's butt. ♥ I'm sorry you fractured your knee as well! Bad things always seem to happen at the same time. :/ Try your best to take it easy if you can. But when your knee is better, maybe you could look for keep fit classes to strengthen your muscles? It might also keep you feeling a bit better in general. Just a thought.

Awesome :) I was looking at pet rats a little this week. I really wish I could get one, but I think my one cat would kill them T_T She was a feral rescue so she's a bit rough around the edges.

I don't think they can be traded but I'm not entirely sure.

Yeah, that could be an issue. The best cage for cheap is a Petco Rat Manor and I don't think a cat could get its paw through the bars. They do need playtime, though and you would have to go to a room the cat doesn't have access for that.

I have a bunch and don't want anything in the quest shop, I want CSC lol.

Aww a rat manor XD I miss having animals that can live in cages. I used to have a rabbit when I was in junior high.

I have two house rabbits. :) I can't take them with me in the move, though. ): I got the last of what I needed for the babies but the shop didn't have any so I'm going back Tuesday morning unless a local feeder breeder responds to my ad.

I joined and posted on a reptile group on Facebook last night and woke up to three messages. I was asleep when they sent them and it's 7am on a Sunday so I'm sure I have to wait a bit for responses but one was even right down the road. :) Hoping it works out that I can go get some today. I decided to take home three.

It was my mistake, I doubt it would be resolved. I DID just go pick up my rats, though! I got three little boys - two of which have already pottied for me! Yay!
