Has anyone else had their anti-virus pop up and tell them it blocked a URL-Mal? I already checked my system for anything that can be causing it but have found nothing. It's happened twice now, and this last time I was only on Subeta. I find it really strange that Subeta would have something like this, though.

I use Avast and a couple of times it has popped up to warn me about a blocked url when browsing the Subeta forums however it dosent affect me using Subeta so I'm not sure what it could be.

I saw on tumblr that someone's antivirus was alerting them on subeta. Mine hasn't, but I also have adblock so maybe it's from an ad and not the site?

The URL:Mal it is protecting me from is: hxxp://api.segment.io/v1/i So by the looks of it, nothing to do with Subeta so not sure why this site is triggering the warnings.

I saw this thread, went on with my business, and a few minutes later got an alert myself. I would like to know what is going on here. I have AdBlock on as well, so whatever it is, isn't something that will block out.

Also I have been getting this blocking for about a week or so now... and since it doesn't seem to be just one anti virus company blocking parts of the site, but rather many I hope it's not anything bad.

I've NEVER had issues with this on this site. When it happens to me I'm mostly on forums or the explore map. I'll click it then go to like my FB tab or a browser game while the subeta page loads and when I go back it's "blocked".

The only sites my anti virus even bothered to warn me about before now was two web comics I read Disenchanted and Crossed. Even those were just a light heads up (yellow). This block for subeta is harsher (red). I found a simple click back on the browser and reclicking where I was going and it won't show up with the warning it could be a bad site.

I also use avast and was alarmed (since today).

I get an alert or three with almost every refresh, no matter where I am on the site. It started last night I think. I'd really like to know what's going on. I remember something like this happened earlier this year and they were able to fix it.

It's happening on random pages for me. Sometimes it's the very front page, sometimes it's the patch, sometimes it's the forums. I also have adblock, so if it's an ad that's popping up I'm not sure which one it is.

Glad to know it's being looked into. I'm still cautious, but I want to browse this site without fear.

So my anti virus is still popping on. I have webroot and it says the following:

http://subeta.net/explore/donation.php We recommend that you don't continue to this website because it is reported to contain the following threats: Phishing threat: This site might try to trick you into disclosing your login, password or other sensitive information by disguising itself as another website you may trust.

that's all it says it doesn't say anything else like the other users anti virus showed them.

[edit] Avast was extremely vague and gave me no insight into why Subeta was supposedly a threat, so that's actually the most reasoning I've seen, Rydia.

I wasn't getting the same Avast warning that was put up as a screen shot on the previous page. I had it come up as 2 different objects and the Process was Chrome.exe and FireFox.exe (from within my own program files). I had it happen on EVERY page I visited on Subeta, which was really annoying, and it happened all day yesterday. I don't know if what I did worked or not, but I ran a full/deep scan of my PC with Avast!, ran a deep scan using Advanced System Care (for Malware), restored my PC to a previous point about a week ago, closed down my PC for the night and came on today and it was ok.

Anyway, I haven't had anything come up since Keith disabled that 'segment.io' thing. Thank goodness.
