Another one if anybody's still here. I think this shading looks better than the previous two, but still looks a bit flat to me.

how do you feel about me doing a quick scribble over it for what I think since I fail at describing things?

ummm there is a PSD file in there so you can see in its own layers sorta what I did... Ionno there was something a little off in the shape of the bangs. But also I threw a few extra shadows down to try to get a sense of "roundness" or three dimensionality... I have no idea LOL I know mine isn't perfect either... I tired.

You're doing really great on these and getting pretty good C: My only advice is to remember to shade things as a whole, not each individual strand / chunk of hair. Not sure if that makes sense, let me know if it doesn't and I can make a small little tutorial thing! C:

Right: This is shading AND texturing at the same time. Now it's up to you if you want to build the texture INTO the shading like I have done, or do the shading and then do the texturing either above or below it. Your technique is starting to look a lot better! C: The left side (our left) looks pretty good now. The light source is a bit confusing on the right half, but it does look much better this time around with texturing C:
