I just want to point out that the downtown this morning had nothing to do with the server changes yesterday. That was my first thought and we rolled back all of the changes to the last server changes, and it didn't improve.
I think we're mostly out of the woods now. After increasing our security settings on cloudflare (which gives you things like captchas on random pages, that 5 second loader when you first come on the site, etc) and limiting some external traffic, I think we're mostly good!

curious, are the attacks coming from china? there's been a recent bout of what are looking like paid DDoS attacks launched at several sites within the furry community (mostly art communities) and i can't help but wonder if that and this are connected.
