Seeing as the suggestion for having each quest giver have their image in each of their individual shops went through, I thought this one might tie in with it:

It'd be nice that, when you buy something from a particular quest shop, the quest shop that you buy from has the NPC thanking you instead of Pete thanking you no matter what shop you buy from.

For example - I just bought something from Quentin's quest shop. Instead of Quentin thanking you, it's Pete. It feels rather odd XD LOL!

I never took notice of that, but it would definitely be a nice addition haha

and then whenever you buy something, it takes you right back to Pete's shop. who made Pete the King of the Quest Shop? : P

Yeah, I hate that the purchase from any shop takes you right back to Pete. I want to finish my purchases with Saggie or whomever before moving on to another shop.

Yeah I think it would make the best sense if the NPC you bought from was the same NPC to thank you for your purchase.

It always annoyed me that the system auto-defaults to Pete. I get that he was the first shop open and such, but at least leave me where I was please!

Shows how little I pay attention though - I didn't realize that Pete thanked you for buying from any of the shops.

Pete was the first QS, I think. They probably just never got around to changing in when others were added. But I'm all for the other NPCs popping up to thank me. I'm sick of seeing Greasy Pete. :|

I presumed that the rest of the quest grantors were subletting space from Pete, so he's the boss. This isn't necessarily a glitch.

Don't the quest givers all have their own reasons for offering quest shops in the back of their place? Is there anything to suggest that they're connected other than by the quest point system?

It really does look like just a little thing that got overlooked accidentally.

Yeah, I understand that Pete's came first, but it seems a little odd at this point.
