Bow and arrow actually have some advantages over guns. A bow is better for stealth and you can reuse some of the arrows. Arrows are supposed to be better at penetrating soft armor because they're sharp and I guess having an arrow stuck in you hurts more is stops you better than a bullet that passed right through you? But other than that a gun would be way more practical. Maybe the bow and arrow are good for showing Oliver's strength and discipline?

[Spoiler] I feel like Diggle is Oliver's main man, I'm confused ;u; I also felt like the fight between Ra's and Olie was really boring and not well acted. There is a part of me that believe that Ra's really wanted to die and retire. It just, was too OCC in my opinion ..

I definitely agree with you on how a bow and arrow has some advantages. c: A bullet can scatter inside the body though as it deforms etc., while an arrow doesn't do that, since it just goes in (so it leads to more damage). I'm just thinking... Ollie, you used a gun before in one of the earlier episodes this season, why can't you use that on Ras? I'm not a ballistics expert, so yeah, probably not all do that, but the possibility of fragmentation is enough to say the proper bullet would be more damaging than an arrow.
