Short or long, I'm jealous of your hair. XD It looks really good!
Have you tried putting it up? When I was getting annoyed with my hair, but wasn't quite ready to cut it, I would wear a bun every day.
LOL x'D Thank you!
I have it on a bun all the time while I'm at home. But I wear it loose when I go out and have it ironed, since I like how it loos like that better. Sometimes I'm too lazy to make it look nice in the mornings and wear a bun outside though. Battling with my hair is the last thing I want to do at & in the morning.
- Wows, that was a crazy brave thing to do. I can only dream of having hair that long and thick.
I have such fine hair. I have been getting bobs these past 7 years. I had long hair that reached to my chest in high school but I had to wear it up all the time because it would instantly tangle. Now that I look back I think it was damaged because I didn't know any better and didn't condition my ends. I started growing out my hair that was cut asymmetrical earlier this year, said no more to highlights, but got wicked butchered and botched back in July so now I have to start all over again.
Anyways, I have really oily hair too and I suggest dry shampoo and even baby powder to touch up greasy areas. I started using sulfate-free shampoos which for me has been working better than regular common shampoos. Since I wash my hair everyday they are gentler and a healthier alternative, so they say. IDK for sure, but I do know my hair lasts though the whole day at least before getting gross.
My hair's just past my shoulder-blades and I want to get it cut short so bad. But I have a cowlick and a part in the middle, neither of which will go away no matter how hard I try. I cut it short before, but started growing it out after a few months because it would not stop parting in the middle, no matter what clips or gels or sprays I tried. My hair is super thick too and although I only wash it every other day or so, it gets oily fast.
Yeah, I wasn't super fond of fighting with my hair every day either. It got to the point where it just LOOKED neglected, which was what inspired me to cut it off in the first place.
Mine used to instantly tangle too, conditioned or not. It never looked TOO badly because it was curly, but it wasn't a good curly, it was a messy curly. The only reason my before picture looked so good was because it had just been thoroughly combed.
Ooh, sulfate-free, I'll try that! Thanks!
The only way I could change my part, long or short, was by physically combing it every time I got up, and it liked to sneak back over in the wind. I kinda think hair just grows that way. :T So annoying.
What a big difference! Almost all of your hair is gone, but you sure do look great!
