I have 13 pets Laurie!

Time for a round-up ping bears # laurs =) I haven't spotted any of the quest NPCs in costumes but the Balloon Hunt carnival game has spooky balloons instead of the normal ones which has me hopeful that it wont be much longer.

First off, I've got the member lists done for Trick or Treating but that's not why I'm pinging y'all back here. This ping is to remind y'all of a few tricks that we've figured out so you're all as ready as can be. All of these will be spoiler'ed on the main Trick-or-Treat thread once the party starts for easy reference.

Options option To make things easier for visitors dropping by to do a little ToT'ing, egging and TP'ing at your house, have the Options section of your profile view-able or easy to find. To add it, choose the Edit Profile under your preferences. You'll find it in the Add Content section of your Toolbox.

Right now it should look something like this:

Once Morostide gets underway, it'll look something like this:

Those aren't exact but you get my drift. If you come across someones profile that's dead set against having the Options section displayed, there is a way around it. You'll need the Notepad widget and from there use the TOT code:

[tot=NAME HERE]

For example: [tot=Laurie]

Just replace the name and you're all set. You can also use this code as your status to make trick or treating at your house a snap

Floating Items Code Here's an excellent place to start: Floating Items Custom CSS

This is the code I use. Some people have trouble with this but it's never let me down:

Copy that and paste it in the CustomCSS box RIGHT HERE. If you've already got some CustomCSS, add that above or below it.

I DID NOT come up with this code.

Keepin' the forums clean When someone eggs or TP's your house, the background on the forums change for awhile. I got no problem being egged or TP'd but that yellow goopish egg background makes me crazy. Luckily someone came up with a way to fix that. Again, I DID NOT come up with this code:

.forum_topic_reply {background-image:none!important;}

This also goes into your CustomCSS box OVER HERE

The code won't work! I've never had this problem but as I was copying my codes for y'all I realized some people might not see the . in the beginning of it. Before you panic, make sure you've copied all of the code in the box. Also make sure you've added it above or below any existing CustomCSS. It might not be a bad idea to copy any existing code and save it to notepad before making any changes either.

Save us from the man with the hex Anti-Hex items: [item2=Protective Sage] (from the MC) [item2=Hypno-Monocle] (from the Cash Shop)

Hex remover: [item2=Hex Remover] (from the Frag Shop)

In previous years, these items helped protect us from being hexed over and over and over again. I have no guarantee that they'll still work, no way to know that until the event starts

Have you seen my Snowflaik Minion Attracting: [item2=Bag of Minion Nip] (from the Cash Shop)

This is suppose to make finding the illusive minions in Jaxons Pumpkin Patch easier. Personally I didn't notice a whole lot of difference going on between using it and not using it but others had great success.

If you're not into battling, you need to understand that Morostide opponents range from super easy to impossible. You're not going to be able to walk into the Coliseum and whoop 'em all just because you want to but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a try either. You might surprise yourself, ya never know!

Lets see.. I think that should just about cover it. If you know any other codes or items that might come in handy for the event, please let me know. I'm so excited, I love Morostide, I can't wait for it to start!

Thank you for the reminders. I checked to make sure I had my stuff still all set up from last event and I'm all good to go. So excited and can't wait, either!

I have 33, soon to be 34 pets. May not be 34 by morostide so best to stick with 33. If TOTing is doing it by UN characters again, I have 11 or 10 if they don't count the underscore

Me too Gargy, I love Morostide! I have to dig out some things from my gallery to put in wardrobe but from there I should be all set. So excited!

Already done y'all. By checking your Battle Stats page I was able to count how many pets everyone has.

I've also got all members listed by characters in our names and alphabetically. All we have to do now is see how treats are handed out. =)

They dont change anything but how we look. We get "hexed" from houses we trick or treat at once in awhile. I'll try to find a list of past hexes so you can see what I mean. brb!

Hexes are impossible to avoid, hun. The protection things make it so you won't get hexed as often but you'll still get hexed, lol! What would Morostide be without a few tricks mixed in.. xD

oooh Laurie you've covered everything beautifully! I LOVE being hexed, I hope there will be new ones :) And this year I will NOT grumble at getting the same thing over and over again in the pumpkin patch and never finding the minion, lol.

Well, I probably will unsure but that's part of Morostide for Hetty! is the one who has to suffer most :P
