don'I know it! My count is not nearly as impressive as yours. On the plus side I have gotten two forum points since last night.

I've gotten several points too. I know my posting is haphazard at best, but it seems to me lately that they've increased the forum point frequency. For a while there I didn't seem to be getting any, no matter how often I posted.

well it may help that is not around hogging all the points for himself!

- I have no idea which forums count for posts and which don't. It would be nice if that were listed somewhere, like in the actual forum....

yeah they really need to mention these thing. Most people don't even notice you don't get added post counts in certain places. You also don't add one when making a new thread.

Both you and have really good post counts. I never thought I'd get to 15K either, but here I am less than 1K away. Actually, I was so certain that it was useless to work on that it never got added to my Achievement Goals on my profile.

- Do posts in here count? I should start tracking where my posts count and where they don't... Then again, you can get forum points anywhere, so I guess posting, even if it doesn't count toward your total, is still worthwhile.

They certainly do. That's one benefit of being an admin in a user group forum, you don't even have to wait for others to post to add to your post count. I have a group that is no longer needed, but haven't deleted because I have a thread I go to post on from time to time to increase my count.

- Posts in the "Games" forum do count toward your post total! Just tested it!

just got another forum point! I might even consider spending a few. I do like to keep some on hand in case they throw a new beanbag in there.

On the User Run Games and events forums the posts don't count.

And after Monday I can finally say that I'm back to full time and coming back home. Tomorrow we will solve the last few things (bank account and the retirements etc).

Posts did used to count on the event forum, that's how I racked up a lot of my post count in the first place. I was sad when they didn't count them anymore.

I always wanted a laptop, and yet whenever I used one (from work, or borrowed from a friend) I found them annoying to use. LOL but better than no computer at all!

yes I made some good amount of posts there too, some users complained about that and they changed it..

they are so annoying, slow and I can't use the pad, I can't understand how the hell it works so I have an extra mouse for the laptop lol LOL yes it's better than nothing xD

I was just reading stuff in the help forum. A post that's locked, and called "answered" is talking about forum points. In it, kbob mentions that all forums now seem to give post counts in addition to forum points, even welcome, user run games and events. Also says creating a thread counts now too.

Yep, confirmed for the welcome forum, just posted there twice and my post count went up. Wonder if that will remain or if they'll change it back? Now I'm going to run over to user games :D

Depressing...well actually, its going okay, only 844 posts left to go. But I was wandering through the achievement lists today and found out that the posts now go up to 25K when I thought the max was 15K.

Course, I was going through the achievements to activate some :D
