Please, don't get me the wrong way but for some reason I thought that the language in Philippines was Philipino because it's like when tell we speak "mexican". Gaddang, wow, I learnt something today! Never thought pax would be latin! Makes sense the x.
And nahuatl, I don't know. I was doing a class project and we needed a creative name, here in Mexico the people who still have their traditions from the old world speak a lot of different things and nahuatl is the most common of them (the most common of the uncommons! :D ). I really love culture and traditions so I searched a lot of words for my project and one of the words I used and decided to keep for myself was my UN. It sounded about right and I now use it for a lot of websites!
Asaf has a very popular song called "One day/Reckoning song", the popular one was the remix by Idk who but the original he sings is gorgeous. I am loving his vocals too, he's just too awesome!
Well, that depends how you prononce mononoke. Here in spanish we pronounce them as they are but that doesn't make sense to explain in english because you said ABC different in english than in spanish (or any other language) @

The Philippines has around 193 separate languages, but I don't blame you (I laugh when people think Mexico speaks "Mexican"!) Filipino (yes, that is how it's spelled) is the official language and lingua franca, but most of us only speak it as a second language. When I moved to the city, I understood not a single lick of it -- there is very little intelligibility between my native tongue and the others spoken in my area.
That's a very interesting story behind your username. o v o I was aware that Mexico still has living indigenous languages (i.e. street signs in some places in the country with Spanish and indigenous text,) but wasn't familiar with their names. I've injected some words from my native tongue to class project group names before -- classmates would like it because it's a novel idea to them. :D

Though my language is from the ethnic group I descended from, a lot of "living testaments" to our culture are very sparse nowadays, save for folk songs. The songs are almost the only strong legacy passed on to us, and even then, my cousins don't like to learn our language because it's "unfashionable, old-people speak", etc D: On the other hand, I see a lot of people from the majority ethnicity in my province pretend to be one of us!

I'd be delighted to speak any native language but there's priorities like english and german. I'd love to learn latin, I had a friend who used to go to classes but he left it. And I know a girl who was going with him but never knew if they finish it, I wonder if they were actually learning.
