English natively, and uh, moderate German. I understand a lot of German, but am shit at using correct grammar such as the correct cases. I tend to learn bits and pieces of languages, but then give up... currently learning some Slovakian due to my boyfriend and some friends being native speakers.

I'm not fluent in any languages other than English.
I'm studying abroad in Slovakia at the moment so I'm trying to learn Slovak too! I know enough to get by but not really enough to have a conversation yet.

I really only speak English but I'd love to be fluent in other languages. Particularly French and German. I used to know a lot of French (was best in my class) but ever since I finished school I haven't kept up with my "studies" concerning it. I regret not learning any German, I want to know it now. I learned Spanish one time too but again...can't remember much of it. :I
I know fluent English, speak Chinese, and a little bit of German. I want to learn Russian super well so I can travel there without being a tourist. I listen to tapes, but half the time the speakers talk so fast! Taking classes would be smart.
Have you gone/plan to go abroad to France/Russia?
Not sure about Russia, but I plan to go to France during my junior year. My school has a great program in Paris. :D There's also a neat fellowship to study at the École Normale Supérieure, but that's only awarded to a few people, soooo probably not happening for me. That would be fantastic, though.
I'm really bad with languages. I only learned English because we studied it for nine years in school, and I spend so much time online that my English skills HAVE to be good. (I'm Finnish, btw.) I've tried to learn Swedish and Germany too, but nope. Can barely introduce myself in those languages. XD
Well, anyway. English is the only foreign language I really know and love. I read all my books in English these days, it's such a great language for the written word.
Y'all know so many interesting languages. owo)b
I'm currently fluent in English, Mandarin, and Latin. Took some German lessons in Germany one summer, and would really like to study abroad in the next few years. Since I'm in medicine, I should also probably learn some Spanish too. u__u
HALP HOW DO YOU ROLL R'S
(To those who claim Latin is a "dead language": You are clearly not cut out for a career in the Vatican. Pshh >_> )
I speak some German, but I'd love to learn it enough to be fluent in it. I'd also love to learn French because its so pretty. And then I want to move to France and eat pastries and tell people how much I love pastries. Ah the simple life dreams.

I wish I knew. ;_; My prof says I speak Russian like a French person. It's all because of my R's.
I'm fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Vietnamese. I was born in America but since my parents exclusively spoke everything but English to me I never really learned English until I was in the 3rd grade. I'm actually going to be moving over seas in a couple of years to teach English as a foreign language to kids around Asia.
Portuguese is my first language and I can speak Spanish and English pretty decently if I do say so myself. :B I can also understand Italian, and I plan on learning Korean in the near future. As for living abroad...I really hope I can move to Canada once I'm done with college!
My native language is Dutch but I also speak French and English fluently, and I took German in high school. I haven't really kept it up though, so I forgot most of it. Honestly I wouldn't want to live abroad simply because I wouldn't know what to do without my friends and family :p But I do love travelling, and it's super easy that wherever I go, I can communicate with people.
I sadly roll my R's when I speak both French and English. I get mistaken for a tourist in my own town sometimes ..
My mother tongue is Estonian, my English isn't too bad. My Russian is v poor, even though I've been forced to study it for 6 years. I've been doing German and Dutch exercises on Duolingo. :D Also trying to improve my Finnish.
My friend and I plan on going to uni somewhere abroad (probably England). That'd be cool. :D
♥
I'm only really fluent in English, but I've taken Spanish for a long time so I can understand the gist of most written Spanish, even if I don't have all the vocabulary memorized. (Spoken Spanish I could probably also get, but only if the person talked slowly.)
Right now my pet project is learning ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, although that's completely self-taught unfortunately.
