I love chatting if someone else starts the conversation. I don't usually have anything interesting to say. XD

Pippy:
I actually CAN'T believe I know nothing of these items... they're not even expensive! I definitely need to buy them all, thanks for showing me this. . /grabby hands. I love this background. Got another similar one in my wardrobe as they were put in the CS a few months ago. They have such lovely art and I need to get my hands on the other ones as well someday.
It's not a lie... if I find myself work and make a living here in Switzerland, I'm definitely checking this out when I have the time. I love this kind of activities and even though vacation on a beach is nice and tempting, this kind of vacation is much much better. So please let me know when it's time. It's not even that far away and that makes it even better. xD Yes, I know it's still a way ahead, but I'm not planning to leave Subeta for the next couple of years. I just hope Subeta will survive for that long... which I'm guessing. :p
Thanks! I hope you're gonna sort your work thingie out as well. Even if it's frustrating, we're not allowed to give up :> Uhm, I worked as a shop assistant after I 'completed' school and just needed half a year to complete the apprenticeship... without it it's much harder to find work in another country. As I was attending school, I got extremely lazy because of the massive homework the teachers gave us, so I didn't gave a love about learning... which I now regret to death. That's why I wasn't able to study something I liked and had to find myself work instead. I would give anything to repeat the wasted time and correct my mistakes, so I can actually make something good out of my life. I'm not even the youngest anymore. -_-
Yep, we got company in our thread. :D /pats both girls.
I wrote a wall again. I'm sorry... v.v

I like your walls of text, Lumina :p
I was away for about 15 months, so I have an excuse, but yeah - I bought them all! (apart from the wig). The only CWs I have have been gifts - I've never bought myself anything because I'm trying to save all my sP and I don't have spare money IRL...
I'm sure Subeta will be around for years to come! And when we get set up I'll let you know ;) I have an interview on saturday to work in a care home so I'll see how that goes, need to make sure the hours are doable and salary is enough...
I never got any reall qualifications at school - I did my GCSE's before leaving England but didn't complete any further education so have no degrees or anything that will get me very far. That's why I want to get these other qualifications I was talking about nod nod
They seem nice! pats them too
Well you can settle in here, were nice peoples! Talk about anything you like :) Pets (on-, or off-site), music, movies, tv shows, books, food... x

Yeah, first you love them and in the next moment they crush you so hard that you no longer want to read. :p
Welcome to my club, Pippy. I've never touched my wallet for CSC before, I don't even have the cash to do so at the moment. Maybe later, but without work it's just not possible to spoil myself here. I'm totally relying on my sP. /pats it
Good luck on your interview! I hope everything will turn out positive. :D
I should get myself some information on qualifications I can do... hrm. But the question is: Where do start and where to look. o.o
Are you also hyped for Morostide? :) I'm also looking forward to Luminaire... it was so enjoyable last year when I joined Subeta. I registered while Bonfire was around and the two holidays were the main reason why I got so addicted to this place.

I am really hyped for morostide!! And this news post about pumpkin carving has got me even more excited! Might have to give it a go... I missed last year's morostide and Luminaire as I was on hiatus - but I'm definitely sticking around for this year's! :D
I finished my son't clock costume and sent him off to Nursery Rhyme day at school today, and now I am heading off to go to my volunteer job, so I will see you all later! xx

Hey hun!
Phew, what a day! My son won a prize for best costume today! Go me! haha And at work I bought a bunch of DVDs for real cheap, so all in all a pretty nice day!
How are you doing?

Hello all <3 I've got my first raffle ticket today... but sadly not in this thread. :/
It would be awesome if I could also participate in that pumpkin carving event... but I'm not creative and I can't do such stuff, no matter how hard I try. xD But I'm looking forward to the entries!
Heard he won with his costume. Congratz! :D And what DVDs did you bought?

WTG on that prize, Mom! :D

Thank you! Wanna see the costume? I can link a pic if so :)
Thanks Lumina :D I bought: The Killing (original, not US remake) Season 1 & 2 box set Spiral (French series - 'Engrenages') Season 1, 2 & 3 box set, and season 4 Queen of the Damned (which I used to have but lent out an never got back. grrr.) Batteries Not Included (a classic!) Firefly complete series on Blu-Ray for my brother in law (I already own it) and Monsters Inc. for my son :D

Yes, I do!

Here we go then!
Hickory Dickory Dock was the nursery rhyme he wanted, and he wanted to be the clock. I made it out of cardboard, painted using brown, gold and white paint. Made the mouse out of felt and attached it to a string so it could be moved up and down :)
So here it is! Then I have a close-up of the clock face, the "workings", and of the mouse...

WOW...that's wonderful! Would you send some of that creativity over here?!
[center]"You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy."
Hehe, thank you! ^^ I do love getting creative and crafty! I was very lucky that I had the colours of paint I needed! I only had brown, white, gold, and pink! Plus a black marker pen.
If he had wanted to be a ginger cat I would have been in trouble! hehe

I'm sure you would have figured something out. :D
[center]"You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy."
Well, I probably would have done, but then it might have cost me money and I had no budget at the time!

Yay for things working out! I bet your son was thrilled. :D
[center]"You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy."
He was! His cheeky little face was so cute when he walked into class. He was grinning really big! His friends and teachers were very impressed :D

I would imagine that your "cool quotient" went up for awhile with him....enjoy it. LOL
EDIT: I am up to SIX tickets now! Woohoo! lol
